To the best of my knowledge, these transactions are not lump sum. Lump sum is a ghost amount that entered your account ghostly, while the statement is printed out sooner. For example, lets assume you want to print a 4-month teansactions, i.e from January 1 to April 30, the maximum in and outflow transactions taken place in your account until April 1 is #500k. May be some fearful amounts are now entering your account, like 2 million, 4, million, 10 million, 20 million, etc, as the case may be. You meed to explain where those transactions came from. If you don't, the VOs might thing you were depositing that amount in your account for visa processing. Note: I have said "to the best of my knowledge." I am neither an agent nor an expert in visa processing counselling. Tegnaworld23: |

Hi there,Paulahamcy. Congratulations on your sister's Ppr, i have a question to ask. Did your sister notarize or did affidavit of the gift deed given to her by your dad? How did you do it? I'd be happy to hear from you. Thank you.

|

Gurus in the house, I need help. I just submitted my application and in one of the forms, I indicated that 2 dependents would accompany me to Canada but I was charged only for myself and not the dependents also. Now my biometrics letter is out and I got one biometrics capture letter too. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Gentlesoul3268: 7:05am On May 17, 2023 |
You will make visa application of your dependants separately even you mentioned them in your visa application, and also any of your dependants that are younger than 14 years are exempt from providing biometric information Shalom!!! CindyByFine: 2 Likes |

God day everyone. I want the gurus to suggest the BEST option for me on this matter... My POF is in my child's account. I have been saving the money there over the yrs. Now I want to transfer the money back to my account and apply for visa. Can I do dt? I mean is it achievable? These are my fears.. 1. The money is going to be a LUMP SUM, so how do I defend that I am NOT DIVERTING money meant for my child for my own gain(although, there is alot of evidence to show that all the money in my child account was transferred from my account bit by bit over the years; in the space of 4yrs. OR should I just transfer now and print my account in October (4month) so that the lump-sum won't show . If I do 6month or 1yr MBS there will be good inflow and outflow but the lump-sum too will show @bullstriker @ketima @lekiboboe @technix @Anon123 @Makano @Bobomaigida @ShowYoung Please the gurus, make Una help me abeg. My batch is January 2024 |

akinloluazeez: I think the point VO is making is more about the source of your funds as opposed to the funds itself. Before you apply, you need to think about how to justify the 18.5m through your $300-$360 monthly payslip or other means. You also need to convince the VO that it would be a reasonable expense. 3 Likes |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Bobomaigida: 11:12am On May 17, 2023 |
Heritagebib: Please leave the funds in your child's account, get a reference letter showing you are the signatory to the account, explain that you were saving the funds in the account to guard against impulsive spending and the interest paid on children's account, reiterate the fact that you have been the one saving funds in there to be used at a later date. 3 Likes |

Thank you so much for this input. I don dey fear say how I go do am.... I want to ask further, What if I transfer part/half of the money to my account so the VO would know that I truly have access to withdraw the money. I have read on this thread before that you should transfer from your BUSINESS account to your PERSONAL account cos using a business account for studies is suspicious. So, using the same ideology now, don't you feel sir that using a child's account could be suspicious? I'm not trying to argue here, I just need more clarification. Bobomaigida: 1 Like |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Bobomaigida: 11:41am On May 17, 2023 |
Heritagebib: That is also fine, just ensure you explain in your SOP why you did that and back up the ownership of both accounts with bank reference letters, using the child's account is not suspicious because you are the owner of the account at least on till the child turns 18. 1 Like |

akinloluazeez: How long did it take to get the GCMS notes from the day you applied? I think the VO is concerned about the source of fund as there is a mismatch between your earnings and your account. You may need a detailed explanation to overcome his concerns 1 Like |
