GCMS Note took 30 Days, a friend we did together took 25 days. In my previous application, I have included some documents to show how I got to save up this money before I got them fixed in MFB. Kenn55: |

Fabprincely:Yes. But mainly if it is familia. As most banks now look out for evidence of relationship -parent to children, husband to wife etc. |

You can go with either of the two options you mentioned. @Bobomaigida has advised you on how to go about the first option. The second option will eliminate unnecessary scrutiny if you maintain reasonable transactions Heritagebib: |

In putting a good application, your background (e.g. academic and professional) is as important as proof of funds. Besides the issue with funds accessibility, the VO did not believe that your intended program, in relation to the current occupation, salary, job opportunities etc., is worth spending such an amount. In your Sop, discuss in detail your reason for your planned program, e.g. the job opportunities, possible promotion etc. You can address proof of accessibility to an extent by paying a significant portion of your tuition fee. Then, transfer the funds to a major bank and show the trail. Suppose your sponsor set aside the funds in a fixed deposit; explain why and provide documentation of his source of income. For example, income can come from rent, employment, or business. akinloluazeez: 1 Like |

Heritagebib: Please you are the ultimate owner and trustee on the account, tell them you need a reference letter that shows you are the signatory and print the SOA. You are to use the reference letter and SOA for the purposes of application. 1 Like |

hardeydara213: You plan to relocate to Canada with your family via visiting route? Except you just want to visit then fine, but if the plan is to relocate then don't allow anyone deceive, save your funds. You can try the study route however. |

On Passport Submission Dear all, During my recent conversation with VFS customer service regarding passport stamping, I received some valuable information that I would like to share with all of you. According to the representative, VFS places a higher priority on passports submitted in person as opposed to those sent via courier service. Those submitted by courier are done batch by batch. Hence, if you are situated in Abuja, Lagos, or the neighboring states, it would be advisable to personally submit your passport if you require a prompt processing time. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

If you are for fall intake please be sure to submit your applications before the end of this month. The earlier the better so you don’t end up like me. 1 Like |

Fabprincely: When I applied BTA for my wife, she did not have account with the preferred bank. So she applied with her own BVN on the TMS portal but selected my own bank and branch as the preferred bank. Before then I talked to the bank and was told they will approve. |

akinloluazeez: MFBs are red flags to VOs, send the money into your normal bank account and show proof of where it’s coming from. Also, fixed deposits are not available funds, they can be used to show where subsequent funds will come from, not funds required at the point of application. Liquidate the fixed funds into your account and show proof of the investment too, goodluck. 3 Likes |
