yMcy56: It is now paining me that I missed loading GTCO at about N18 while waiting for a price of N17 when I had the funds to buy around last quarter of last year. Being too greedy in search of lower prices sometimes has negative risks and painful consequences of getting nadding |

purity2all: You see why you were told not to dive in with both legs @ N3+ yesterday? TRANSCORP will still do well though. ...it will eventually break that 3.12 resistance level and create a new 52W high. As I said before; a lot of things will play in favour of the sector it belongs, irrespective of who becomes the next president. For those engaging it for swing trade, a cautious approach is advised. ...otherwise you can relax if you're a long term investor. It remains a mid to long term play! It is well 4 Likes |

I totally do not agree with you my dear, cause since I joined this forum, no one has ever accurately predicted the date of upward and downward movement of this market. Many have tried it in time past but failed, even Oracle thought the market would have burnt down by now. @currentprice is doing a good work here but OGG is doing better. @currentprice used to breeze into this forum and out once in a blue moon, whereas OGG is always here incouraging us. Could you imagine that I'm already more than 10% up on LIVESTOCK, coutesy of OGG effort. One thing is certain if you must survive in this market, ... always invest with longterm consciousness. Cause most times, the best performing companies don't even move up at the expected time. So, while investing, have like 5yrs target, however, if you make it in 2 months, just thank God. 4 Likes 1 Share |

@ Sir veecovee thanks for looking out for me. ...I really do appreciate it. But pls let's forget about the matter of who is or isn't better. ...I'd rather we don't delve into that. @curremtprice is doing well. ...including many others here like @paemaewumi, @Oracle, @mcy56, @thesilentone, @ositadinma, @Agba, @bullbearmkt, @Mpeace etc. ...even you! yes you are also doing well in contributing to the forum in your own little way. I don't take pride in anything. Even in everything, I believe am still a learner. We are all here to learn and help each other forge a united front with the sole aim of growing our collective investments/net worth. Regards bro! 10 Likes |

Here are some stocks, their fair values, and their divergence from fair value (VPD). I used 2022 reports as my source. PE was as of yesterday. You can see that I sorted them in order of rising PE. 9 Likes 2 Shares

ositadima1: I feel and like this VPD thing and must have been using it intuitively in stock selection without knowing that I was using the concept. On your picture was the VPD calculated based on your estimated fair value PE dividend by current market PE ? 2 Likes |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ositadima1(m): 3:35pm On May 17, 2023 |
Agbalowomeri: You are right, Sir. As it is, there is not much use for it, except when there is a considerable deviation of either stock or both from their normal relation. In this case, one can sell one and buy the other, which is a form of arbitrage. This is assuming that the agent that caused the correlation is still in play. 1 Like |

BabsO2: The way GTCO is flying. Looks like some FPI's are already sneaking back. Till I find time to look up if their holdings have been updated on morning star. They seem to like GTCO and the 2022 FY and 2023Q1 suggest GTCO has turned around from the low quarterly earnings I & perhaps some others were worried about. GTCO gained a further N1.05 today to close at N 26.15 While Zenith gained only N0.65 and closed at N25.15 1 Like |
