Block account : the amount will be "blocked" in a german bank and evidence presented to the embassy. When you get to Germany, you'll be given €934 monthly from it for one year. It's your funds for monthly livelihood.

Combining Work and Study: As an international student, you're legally allowed to work for a max of 20hrs a week or 240 days or 120 half days a year. Monthly Earnings: This varies depending on where you get employed. I've seen a guy work for a tech firm part-time as an ML engineer earning €25/hr. That's rare. Most student jobs pay minimum wage.


Affordable Accommodation: Student dorm offers the best prices as it's mostly shared. Private housing can be expensive. Your lifestyle depends on how much you pay

The blocked account amount 11,208 is a like a security proof that he can sustain here for a duration of at least 1 year.
He can work 80 hrs per month or 120 full days in a year
Public/statutory health insurance if less than 30 after arriving Germany and public or private health insurance if over 30.
Housing in Berlin as in other big cities are difficult, he can already begin to apply to Studentenwerk if he will be here in Winter Semester.

Pray it drops by weekend. U can go with ur payment slip and ur correspondence with them, though I doubt if It will fly

I paid through expatrio too.just wait for the 5 days they told you .mine took up to a week and 3 days before it was confirmed.by Monday ,it must have arrived.just be on alert to print it out .

I applied in April so it's not my turn yet, i wanted to know if they gave out appointment dates yesterday.
