One quick question 🙏

So my passport expired like a week ago.. I sent them a webform on the 3rd which was before it expired and on my tracker, they acknowledged receipt of the inquiry. Between the day it expired and now, I have sent an extra four but still there is no update on my tracker… They question now is….. is there a need to send them an email for them to update or I should just relax?? Please I will very much appreciate a response..

I have a Second question I want to ask. While my passport is supposed to undergo renewals, i have 4 months left on this passport. Can I use this to submit for visa application to CIC online, while i follow up on the renewals?

I am not 100% certain, but I think all passports must have at least 6months validity (minimum validity).

Best for me to renew before i apply then.
