Greetings to Everyone, Please I have a Friend who went to the US as a student. She has completed her study. Her status hasn't change. She now has a child while in the US. She will like to apply for study permit in Canada. My question is: since she is in the US, will she go through the same online application as people in Nigeria that does not have Canada embassy there or will her application process to come to Canada be an interview at the Canadian embassy in the US? Thanks ❤ |

tenderjunkie: Thank you. I have done all what was suggested on those pages already. Despite sending them an email, they still haven’t been able booked a time for me. I have approximately 2 weeks left to get the medicals done. |

Canfulfilment: Don't relent about this. Continue talking, messaging and even calling them. If you are in Lagos, go to the VFS office. I am still waiting for my passport to be stamped and returned, I am still waiting. When did you receive your LOI? I got a message today that my passport has been dispatched to the Abuja VFS center. |

Don't know how sending and receiving passport through courier that ideally should be less stressful and faster has managed to turn to something else. Imagine submitting in person being the best. Atleast you know the exact Date you are waiting and expecting the passport 1 Like |

Good evening House, please I need u guys to look into my matter o. I printed my bank statement yesterday and planning to submit my student application on Monday. But my concerns are, my opening balance shown 980 naira as of January 3rd and January 7th I received 1.3m, Feb 3m twice in between 10 days and 2m plus around March, I sha dey receive money like that from undocumented businesses, and sold a property of 8m 2 days ago and the funds were transfered to my acct, plus I moved almost 4m from my other bank to my first bank which I want to submit for the application, please I need advise on what to do to defend those deposits if they are lump sum or not, my available now is 17mplus, total debit is 14m and credit is 32m, please can somebody advise me on what to do the best. GOD BLESS U ALL. And my closing balance never go below 5m since Feb 10th. |

Hi everyone, I would like to apply for a study permit any moment from now but I have savings account with a micro-finance bank and my sponsor sent xyz amount into my saving since March for support and the money is still intact, and have been running this savings account for a while . Can I use that micro finance statement of account? Or I should transfer all of the sum into my other bank account And won’t it appear as a lump-sum? I just need idea from the house that won’t this whole thing back fire |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by zubizareta(m): 8:37pm On May 18, 2023 |
Tegnaworld23: Can you generate your acct starting from that Feb 10. So your opening balance can show 5 million so you have little lump sum to explain. From Feb 10th till date is 3 months plus. I used SOA of 2 months and 1 week old and I was fine. My one opinion oo. Wait for others to advise you |

yolemum: If you have your LOA, now is the best time to start your visa application as there is no specific duration processing takes. |

Philomathhh:If u are in Abuja go there in person and meet them. They will give u a short date. If Lagos still try it, they are human too, they will assist u. Don’t underate those securities too, they might be able to help. |

Tegnaworld23:First question is do u have a legitimate source of income? If yes then explain the lump sums as they appear. If u claim u are a contractor or facilitator u should have evidence and be ready to do a lot of convincing. Basically they are lump sums and with a convincing proof of the sources u are good to go |
