Luzebox:all this argument you're making is neither here nor there since this use disposable income which consumers have at their disposal and liberty. Investors look at savings level which come from disposable income and spending level. |

Just40:..what you posted was over 5 million ghanaians can spend 10$ =100 cedis a day...which is not wild cos anything under that in ghana is poverty or close to poverty..with the expensive cost of living...thats why the average ghanaian earning btw 1000 cedis to 4000 cedis can barely save ...the ability to spend 10$ doesnt really mean much in some countries..u might still fall under the struggling line 1 Like 1 Share

NNPCL would begin supply of 300,000Bpd crude to Dangote refinery from next week. Supply would be purchased by Dangote in naira. If this occur as planned, it may also mean a further reduction of crude oil exports. However, the question of subsidy becomes moot if only naira is at play here. |

The power plant capacity at the Dangote refinery alone is almost twice the national electricity generation capacity of Rwanda as a country. This got me thinking: Wow! Rwanda must be a really tiny country, to still have more stable electricity even with such low generation capacity. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Luzebox:Ghana poverty rate is set at 2.3 dollars spending per day and anything less than that is poverty. If you spend above that in Ghana per head you're doing fine. The average Ghanaian savings as a share of GDP compared to other countries in first pic is above sub Saharan standard. So your statement on Ghanaians not being able to save does not even hold water. In second pic you have Ghanaian savings and time deposit as a percentage of broad money supply which is also high. So as you can see, you can still spend that high in Ghana and be able to save enough money. 1 Like

What I'm amazed is that nowhere in Africa besides one out of the 54 nations is successful and thats pretty sad. Nigeria - Lol, nothing works there. You can bribe anyone to do anything you want. Ghana - Bankrupt and Galamsey is destroying everything. The nation will be importing water soon. Kenya - Heading for bankruptcy. South Africa - Economic recession Oh, you are all China slave boys and girls too hence its given them confidence to do anything to you with no real repercussions. |

You don't even have the knowledge to comment of basic stuff as bread and butter. Find your level, kid No one is jubilating, infact the govt is being chastised. Next joke 1 Like |

Just40: Has there been any update about Galamsey? Are we still losing on that front because last I heard, that Galamsey chink Queen, Aisha Huang, was only convicted on immigrantion charges recently...Nevermind forgery of documentation and her actual crimes of destroying our environment. Deporting her from the country again is too lenient of a punishment because she will just sneak back in and repeat the same crimes. Just like that Ivory Queen chink in Tanzania but she was actually jailed for 15 years. https://ghfrontpage.com/galamsey-queen-aisha-huang-convicted/?utm_source=ReviveOldPost&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=ReviveOldPost https://ghanaguardian.com/ivory-queen-jailed-in-tanzania |

QueenNyakim:He case is still going on in court... Latest on galamsey is the Asantehene promising to remove all the chiefs whose town are being used to do galamsey. He has waited on political authority to act to no avail because they are the ones engaging in it 2 Likes |
Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by QueenNyakim: 7:44pm On May 19, 2023 |
Just40: Did it really take the Asantehene meeting King Charles III on coronation day to actually do something about galamsey in Kumasi? Better late than never I suppose but I hope at least something fruitful comes from it. Even though Asantehene is only king of the Ashanti, Kumasi, he is the most influential king as well as politically in Ghana so hopefully the others will follow suit and obviously the politcians in on it need to be swfitly dealt with and thrown in prison like the treasonous snakes they are so Nana Akufo-Addo needs to get off his ass and actually DO something. Their queen has already been caught and currently being dealt with in court like you said. |
Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by Just40: 7:59pm On May 19, 2023 |
QueenNyakim:Most of the galamsey is only happening in the Ashanti region where he has full control over. The special prosecutor and CHRAJ will deal with the politicians as the matter has been referred to them but real solution will only come when this govt is taken out of office. They are busy preventing prosecution |
