Wize is also great too especially for the multi currency account but they could deactivate your account for no bloody reason and wouldn't even give opportunity for you to make inquiry. Tbh, they have got one of the best rates outside UK. davide470: 1 Like |

Pls how soon can one get notified of a traffic fine, just in case? I am still relatively new to the uk roads and I’ve made some serious traffic mistakes in the last 2 months. My saving grace is that I live in a suburban town with lesser population. roads are less busy and less complicated. But, I travelled to Manchester last week and I made some serious mistakes one their more-complex roads. I followed/drove against the traffic for some yards while trying to enter/exit road. It happened 3 times during the trip. Police were not involved both times but there were cameras there. Other drivers were quick to notify me on time and I either turned back or adjust to the appropriate lane. |

kwakudtraveller: Not an overkill, It's called fraud....... And various employer's have measures to tackle fraudulent employee's........ If you cannot stand the heat....... Read your employee HB and don't commit fraud...... Blame her for her stupidity, you want to commit fraud, yet placed on social media your life history (she's probably bought a brand new car, new mortgage + showing her colleagues her mansion in Nigeria etc etc ) Living larger than her pay packet....... It's all her fault...... You cannot receive sick pay from one employer, use that same period to work for another employer and get paid twice........ Are you a money doubler....... Abi you be Sodiq......... 😝🤣😂 7 Likes |

Tier4Dependant: Was talking to someone on tik tok who has had one shift in about a month from the care home that issued her CoS, extremely broke and looking for additional jobs on the side She does not know that she can work just 20 hrs outside the coy that issued her CoS, she also does not know that you can not just leave the employer without getting on another sponsorship CoS. Was trying to educate and encourage her to read up the visa type on gov.uk, she refused and kept arguing People need to start reading before making the jump and suffering needlessly all the name of Japa. Proper planning with boxes ticked is neccessary in case things dont turn out the way you envisaged. If you ask them to use Nairaland, they will say they dont understand it. Same people who use SnapChat and twitter all day As my good friend will say, if you no ready use your brain for UK, you go use your body Choice remains yours 13 Likes 2 Shares |

Emmy2023: Credit to you for owning up to your mistake rather than giving excuses like some here. If you noticed i did not dwell on your mistake in my first reply to your post, i made only one line of reference to it then i went ahead to provide 3 possible solutions. Heart to heart i do hope you get things sorted asap. Landlord will not kick you out immediately for defaulting on your rent, it could take 2-3 months or more. Wishing you the very best. 10 Likes 1 Share |

Emmy2023: Do not allow some very sanctimonious humans on this thread to gaslight you. You did nothing wrong. You did not make any mistake. You trusted the process. You believed that the anyhowness in Nigeria remains in Nigeria. Never in your wildest imagination did you think that in the UK, an employer will delay your pay for over a month, for any reason. It’s the company that sponsored you that is the problem, not you. It was not a mistake. Maybe a learning curve, but definitely not a mistake. There are bullies everywhere, even on this thread. They may want to gaslight & bully you, using different kinds of words and sometimes outrightly disparaging statements and phrases. Give them no heed. 31 Likes |

Hi , I want to confirm if it is true that NHS gives sponsorship to healthcare worker and what is the salary threshord for NHS sponsorship for band 3 |

EJIOGBENIMI: Odikwa Risky. Take sometime off driving and master the roads as it seems you clearly don’t understand it. I’m an advocate of, try to pass the theory test at least before you start driving with your international license. Even you will enjoy your driving with the knowledge that you would have gained. You should get a Notice of Intended Prosecution with 14days. You might be lucky and not get any if those cameras didn’t catch you. 1 Like |

Alexia20: If you mean, Can healthcare assistant, band 3 role be sponsored, it’s a Yes. But then again, it depends on the Trust. Some may decide not to sponsor but not because the role cannot be sponsored. They will have their reasons for not sponsoring. Threshold should be btwn £21730 - £23177 depending on the number of years of experience. |

Emmy2023: You didn't make any mistake ..... Tier 2 allows you to work and be paid immediately. Its just that currently the situation on ground has been abused and has several issues. I know one or two carer who worked and were paid for day 1 and were paid by end of month so this fault is your employer because on Facebook you see some going for months with no shifts of stories here and there from employer I know someone 5 months now... only 2 hours a week shift ...that can'teven cover food not to talk of rent . So even with best planning . How can someone have planned for that 10 Likes |

Some very helpful individual will come and say… “ you mean you came to the UK without having enough money to take of yourself for 7 months..” Bla bla bla… And the person(s) will even go the whole distance of blaming the victim for not having enough buffer or planning well. 11 Likes |

Phil46: Calm. Down. Why do you badly need a credit card? Scroll through the thread. You will see links of comparison sites that allow you to enter your details and check your eligibility. These sites can actually show you the cards that you have been pre-approved for. Apply for one of those pre-approved ones. Then begin the journey. Small small. For now, you may want to ignore people dropping their referral links (I mean, ignore the referral links, not the people). Trust me, those referral links are for their own interests, not yours (in the first instance). 4 Likes |
