I'll prefer the V.I job. Irrespective of how much prospect is in the Berger job, transport is already having it's toll on you. Go-to V.I and build more bridges there 53 Likes 2 Shares |

To keep your sanity in Lagos, avoid jobs that take you long distances, especially if there's no company car. Now, that is what you must never do: risking your life for money. I suggest that you don't look at the money. Choose the job that has a better work condition and work environment. Better people to work with and prospect of giving you experience that you can leverage on to grow in a career or business. Good luck. 18 Likes |

Memberclub:I don't know you or your experience but I need to ask if you have worked in Lagos before? Earning 100k - 150k at a job located on the Island and one has to commute from Bariga daily? When you deduct rent, transport, utility bills, feeding, family, clothes from that pay, how much can one save ? 20k a month? Thats 240k a year. How do one pay for certifications when some certifications with discount sef are around $250. How long will it take to save a million? I use to think that way too until I got there myself. 40 Likes 1 Share |

Run away from any job on the island if you stay in the mainland and vice versa, unless your salary is mouth watering that can enable you relocate closer to your office within 3 months. Traffic is real. Depression is real. Choose wisely. 27 Likes 1 Share |

30k transport to Berger, 60k transport to VI. Choose the company that will enable you save money faster and move to a more central location. Some locations in this Lagos will reduce your life span by at least 10 years. 20 Likes 2 Shares |

Foolish question…. Very very very foolish question Oga there’s no way you will compare working on the island to mainland even if the pay is the same. Working on the island gives you room for better opportunities n growth,if you’re the ambitious type. As for transport n traffic , trust me it a perennial problem in Lagos generally, las las you will get used to it n even eventually over come it one way or the other. So no even reason am at all, go for the island job. 6 Likes |
