The pregnancy was quite eventful, it was nothing like my previous pregnancies. I had severe morning sickness that runs all through the day in my first trimester. I didn't even know on time that I was pregnant because I had hung my booth after having my second son, so when the symptoms started, I was busy treating malaria despite a missed period 😂😂😂 I didn't do dating scan as I wasn't sure of myself, infact I started antenatal after 20weeks. I was sick all through first and second trimester with little or no support as we have just relocated far away from family and friends, it wasn't an easy ride at all but God remains faithful.
By 35th week, I started feeling on/off contractions and I was confident I would have her in the comfy of my home, infact I picture her delivery to be like a movie 😂😂 but God has another plan for me. I was officially tired of being pregnant but something in me keeps kicking against the idea of self induction, I just have to pull through one way or another even though I wasn't really sure of my exact due date (I've been following growth scan). So on the day of my last antenatal appointment, my midwife noticed that the baby wasn't well presented so she sent me in for scan. I got to maternity assessment and scan did showed that baby was transverse with her cord dangling below, so I was admitted for monitoring.
When the doctor came to discuss my options with me, he said they could try to turn baby into the right birthing position but they have to be careful because of the dangling cord and since baby is full term and already weighs 3.3kg, our best bet is to carry out a CS to avoid any unwanted stories. So I was prepared for the next morning but before then, another scan was done and this time baby is head down so I told the midwife to break my water so I could try virginal birth which she did. I went into labor almost immediately, I labored for more than 12hrs yet baby didn't engage. I was worried because I've never labored that long before. The surgery team were already telling me I have limited time to try, they need me and baby alive, after a while I had to give in then we proceed to the theater. Alas, the cord was wrapped round her neck and even tied a knot 😩😔 in all I give glory to God for completing what He started!!! Baby and I are recovering well and healing daily. I hereby hang my booth permanently for the last time in the name of God the father, of the son and of the holy spirit ❤️ baby dust to all GTC mothers

My 3 yrs + boy has been having reason to scratch his body lately. He would wake up in the night and start crying from the itching. We observed something that looks like chicken... but doesn't contains liquids.
Took him to the clinic and was told it was scabies. He was placed on antibiotics and calamine lotion yet, it persist.
It only affects his legs and arm while every other parts of his body are okay. We were advised to go local treatment but don't know how to go about it.
Please has anyone experienced this?
How did you manage it?

Thanks teamie, I'm getter better to the glory of God. Pls is it a most I press my tommy with hot water. Doctor said I shouldn't sit on hot water, and my mil said she is scared to press my tommy because I bled so much. But in-laws came today saying I should press with hot water.. Me I'm scared oo. Birth story/Testimony.
Got married in DEC 2018, as a Virgin,(for my mind, virgin nor de get fertility issues) I and my husband decided we didn't want kinds yet, at least make we enjoy our sef small. We were doing withdrawal and using condom. (For our mind)
Months after I started having a pain on my side lower abdomen, I went to see a gynaecologist in a general hospital. That was when our journey started, I did series of test and I was diagnosed with right hydrosalpinx, they started pumping me with clomid, when covid started, Doctor refused attending to me, saying, infertility is not a life threatening disease, I should return after covid. I didnt use hospital for the whole year.
Mil will bring her herb, I will drink the one I can discard the ones i'm not confortable with. Some many advice from left right center.
We started using a private hospital, where my husband works, rounds of clomid started again, after using clomid for 6months, doctor advised iui, or ivf.
We went to sleep again, because we can not come and kee our self. My husband was always there to encourage me. Every one I got married with same time were all with children , some were even with third pregnancies.
I went on line I started doing research about blocked tube. And I saw that our doctors are just being lazy since because there is an option of ivf, I saw that the traditional method before ivf was to get ride of the blocked tube that has fluids (hydrosalpinx) because the fluids leaks Into the uterus and prevents conception from happening. Then the other tube will work fine.
Then I went to meet another doctor, and asked him if its possible to remove my right tube that is bad, oga say nooooooo. Its not done.

The other mama too has hydrosalpinx and other issues, the doctor recommend that the tube be drained or be cut off, (salpingectomy)
This was what I have been looking for. I called the doctor and he said same thing to me. He advised us to carry out the surgery in my residence since we don't reside in abj. I caled my anuty and told her she said that is a good development, that i might not need the ivf, that she is having just one tube cause she had an etopic pregnacy before she started giving birth. That boosted my confidence. Because we were nit having money for ivf yet.That was when I went to my doctor with full force.
That I want to go for ivf that my doctor in abj asked me to go for the surgery before coming over to abj for ivf.
I did the surgery 19th of april . I also followed moretti joy fertility on Facebook, I took some of her teas and followed her teachings.
my husband's birthday was 19sept. I went to God in prayer asking him to bless my husband with a birthday present. I wrote it down, KAMISOCHUKWU. I will name my child kamsiochukwu, if he did it that way. To my greatest surprise I tested positive on my husband's birthday. After 5months of surgery. 36 Likes |

A day before my delivery, I went for antenatal, I was already 36 weeks 1 day, I haven't done scan to ascertain the baby's position, I asked the doctor, she said next week, 37th week. After antenatal I stayed back at my husband's office, I was given mattress,I had a little cramp that didn't last long, I guess that was when my labour started.
I went home that day, the next day, I woke up went to wee, before I could wee, water came out, I thought it was urine, not knowing my water has broken, I went about my normal duties. Sewing, I pedalled my machine till evening, I was just having little discomfort, sweating than normal and frequent urination, and mild menstral pain, one mind was telling me it was labour, another was telling me its suppose so be painful na.
On my way home, I called my husband to tell my doctor that I want to branch the hospital, that i'm having little cramps, doc. said I should go home and relax, and take paracetamol, that its stress. If it continues after 2hours i should come to the hospital.
At about 9pm i asked my husband we start going to the hospital, though no much pain. When we got there, they did scan, and the radiographer said i'm in labour that my baby's head has engaged already.
I went to labour ward the nurse checked and said 8cm, (that checking was so painful meeen, ) after checking that was when I knew I was in labour.
I got to the hospital at about 10, Gave birth, 11:27, I had multiple tears, after placenta came out I started bleeding, they couldn't handle the situation, at about 1am, I was rushed to ubth, the stitches that was done was lossened and restitched, I was in pain all through, pain killer didn't work, I was given a total of 6blood, mostly freshly donated blood. I'm having some kinda cramps again. 😩 I guess the baby is playing with me as usual. If anyone had told me I'll still be pregnant at 39 weeks 5 days, I'll say it's a lie. On my way home, I called my husband to tell my doctor that I want to branch the hospital, that i'm having little cramps, doc. said I should go home and relax, and take paracetamol, that its stress. If it continues after 2hours i should come to the hospital.
At about 9pm i asked my husband we start going to the hospital, though no much pain. When we got there, they did scan, and the radiographer said i'm in labour that my baby's head has engaged already.
I went to labour ward the nurse checked and said 8cm, (that checking was so painful meeen, ) after checking that was when I knew I was in labour.
I got to the hospital at about 10, Gave birth, 11:27, I had multiple tears, after placenta came out I started bleeding, they couldn't handle the situation, at about 1am, I was rushed to ubth, the stitches that was done was lossened and restitched, I was in pain all through, pain killer didn't work, I was given a total of 6blood, mostly freshly donated blood. In all in give God all the Glory. We came out victorious. Thankgod it ended in praise |

Baby weight 4kg vaginally even though scan told me 2.75kg yesterday
The baby was big and i was torn, plus baby was stressed but thankgod it ended in praise

A day before my delivery, I went for antenatal, I was already 36 weeks 1 day, I haven't done scan to ascertain the baby's position, I asked the doctor, she said next week, 37th week. After antenatal I stayed back at my husband's office, I was given mattress,I had a little cramp that didn't last long, I guess that was when my labour started.
I went home that day, the next day, I woke up went to wee, before I could wee, water came out, I thought it was urine, not knowing my water has broken, I went about my normal duties. Sewing, I pedalled my machine till evening, I was just having little discomfort, sweating than normal and frequent urination, and mild menstral pain, one mind was telling me it was labour, another was telling me its suppose so be painful na.

It happened to someone I know and she was referred to badagry general hospital from a private hospital in alaba. Imagine that distance. My 3 yrs + boy has been having reason to scratch his body lately. He would wake up in the night and start crying from the itching. We observed something that looks like chicken... but doesn't contains liquids.
Took him to the clinic and was told it was scabies. He was placed on antibiotics and calamine lotion yet, it persist.
It only affects his legs and arm while every other parts of his body are okay. We were advised to go local treatment but don't know how to go about it.
Please has anyone experienced this?
How did you manage it?
Make una help me ooo biko Wash and disinfectant all his clothes, always bathe him with dettol and rub moko cream for scabies afterwards. Disinfect his room and sundry his bed thoroughly. That thing is wicked. |

Wash and disinfectant all his clothes, always bathe him with dettol and rub moko cream for scabies afterwards.
Disinfectant his room and sundry his bed thoroughly.
That thing is wicked. Very wicked oooo, pls make sure you take him to the hospital for proper care . I remembered my cousin who stayed with us when we were kids had it , it took months if not years before it eventually left . She infected my younger brother but his went away after injections and drugs . |
