Emmyomar:Sadly, you have to go through black market, that's Flywire or other black market rate which will be pretty close to flywire. No way you can make that payment through Form A given the time frame...... |

Hello guys, A friend of mine wants to apply for study permit for herself and her dependent baby daughter of six months, along with her husband, but the baby's passport is not yet out. My question goes as thus, can she apply without the baby's passport for a start because of time..? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by CindyByFine(f): 7:36pm On May 22, 2023 |
Except she will apply for her baby later and use WEBFORM to tell them to add her as a dependent...if not, she actually need her Passport. saucekid50: |

posisubomi2:Request for more than 50k then deduct your personal savings and make sure it gets back to 50k For instance, if you need 50k and your personal savings is 5k Request for 55k and then deduct the 5k personal savings. In your case, request for 78,800 and deduct your 28,800 to get the 50k request 3 Likes |

Hello everyone. I've been an active reviewer of this thread and it helped my DIY effort while I applied for my study visa. I submitted my online application 2 weeks ago and I have not received any request for medical though I received a message about a status update but when I checked there was no new info on my portal. My questions are: 1. Can I go ahead to do my medical examination pending when the request is made by IRCC through my portal ( after which I will self upload my results on the portal) 2. Can I also use any QLife Hospital branch in Lagos? (Is it advisable to use them other than IOM Hospital) |

Hello Gurus in the house. Pls I need your advise on how to go forward with my Canada study permit. I have HND in Biochemistry and I am going for PDC. I have Already sucured the admission and the DLI has provided me with LOA. Meanwhile, my employment status has been a bit of concern. I operate a small business that is into import and export and I do not really have money in my company account. Meanwhile, I do have have a landed property that that I intend to sell to use as proof of funds. Would this lump sum impact my application? Does my employment status as mentioned above matter? Though my wife is a lectuerer and she's going to add a letter of support that she will supports my studies. Also, First semester fees has been paid. It is a year program of 3 semesters. Advise kindly needed pls |

I have come to share my testimony, to give glory to God and to encourage someone. I have collected my PP as well. Upfront Medicals - 24th April. Submission of Application - 28th April. Biometrics Request - 7hrs later. Biometrics -8th May. Medicals passed - 9th May PPR - 9th May PP Submission - 10th May. My eligibility read that they were reviewing to see if I met the eligibility requirement. This God broke protocols for me. My husband is my Sponsor and I applied without him and the children. All statement of Account submitted were his . 36 documents were submitted supporting all that I wrote in my SOP. 19 Likes |

1) Yes. Go ahead and do it. Then send the medical sheet through webform and it will be updated. You don't have to wait for the request before you upload. 2) Yes. You can use any Qlife. Busyfingers2023: |

Bobomaigida: Ok thank you very much for the advice They said it’s going to take 3 to 4months to get my transcript if I apply online, and I want to apply for September 2024 intake Do you think I’ll meet up before the deadline with the school application for September intake, cos applications for January is already closed and May is on going |

bullstriker:I agree with the poster above but I ll like to point out that she doesn’t need to travel to Nigeria to submit her passport. She can actually do flag poling at the border to get her study permit. The PPR visa is just to allow her travel to Canada but if she already in here, no need for that. Her passport will just be stamped and issued a study permit. 2 Likes |
