People like Dangote have access to billions of dollars in loans.

Normally, projects like Dangotes are usually financed by the top international banks. or heavily involved. The loans would be given to him in dollars.

I have in the past tried to get financing for some Nigerian projects such as for refineries and housing, power plants and housing estates.

What Dangote enjoyed was simply getting the dollars at a heavily subsidized rates. The bad forex management orchestrated by Buhari is what has led to the Naira plunging from around 216 to the dollar as at 2015 to 740 today. It is also the biggest reason why the economy is in such a terrible state.

Not like CBN loaned Dangote out of our National reserve


Dangote Fertilizer, Dangote Cement all this company export product and bring in forex to CBN all this while

Local banks cannot fund such a syndicate loan without CBN's backing .......so na government/ CBN runs directly and indirectly..
