I am sorry for this, but ur story line indicated ur intent inclined towards immigrant visa as opposed to non-immigrant visa (F1). You claimed that ur uncle will be sponsoring ur education and after ur studies u will take over ur father's business. The same business that could not sponsor u. This is a red flag

Good day, everyone.

Trust y'all keeping safe.

Please I have one question and a request.

1. Since balances in someone's account can fluctuate over time, how long does an amount which covers sponsorship have to stay in the sponsor's account before being presented for I-20?
Please note that the sponsor is printing out a bank statement covering approximately 6 months. Dec 2022-May 2023.

2. I'd like to be added to the Whatsapp visa appointment date group. 09099275791. Thank you

Please guys I need help.

I initially got an assistantship offer and requested an I-20 from the school and proceeded with paying my Sevis and booking a visa appointment,
But then I just got a better assistantship offer from my Dream school.

I have requested for an I-20 from the new school where I got funded.

Plus what do I do next?
Can I change my Sevis No. in the CGI website from the old Sevis number I originally submitted to the one in my new I-20 from my dream school?

And how do I go about it ?

I haven’t submitted my Ds-160 form yet

Please help a brother with steps to take. Thank you in advance!
Congrats! Quite simple since you haven't submitted your DS 160 form.

Go to www.fmjfee.com and follow the procedure to transfer your sevis fee to the new sevis number. I did this in 2019 in few hours without any issues.

Then, make the changes on DS160 and CGI portal.
