After peaking last month, the stock price declined by more than 30%, but it gained all of that back and then some, with another 10% or more on top.

While someone who simply rode the ups and downs of transcorp would be up 70% to 80%, someone with good timing should be over 100%, even after paying the broker's fees.

With my initial holdings in transcorp, which I bought at .99, I was on over 200% gain. New purchases have done about 62%. I never sell one unit, and no intentions of selling this year.

You'd recall we did highlight and recommended the stock @ N4 and below.
...now that's a whooping near 370% ROI since then!
As I stated and reiterated when it was hovering @ N4; the gap btw intrinsic valuation less MP + surrounding risk, left so much of a bargaining power for the discerning investor. (MoS/RRM in view)

We have since seen and highlighted the possibility of a similar play in it's peer, UNILEVER.
I gave a buy mandate on UNILEVER @ N10+. ...price already up by approx 45% and presently on full bid.
It has the potential to deliver much more!

Elsewhere, INTERNATIONAL BREWERIES @ N5 reminds me of PZ @ N4.
I have since said that aligning with INTERBREW @ N5 is like purchasing a bottle of GRAND MALT (which currently sells for above N150) for just N30 !!

One day (and sooner than later), we will all be saying the same things for INTERBREW and quite possibly "eulogizing it" like we recently do with PZ.
...only problem is that it's price would've more than doubled by then.

I see a 2-3.7x PRM in INTERBREW in the mid to long term. ...and that's me trying real hard to be conservative!
Soon shall come the period of reckoning.

Just thinking out loud, all long term investors gather here, in the last three short years we have survived Covid, Ukraine War, Bank runs, and Recession fears(still ongoing) etc.

Through it all, we held strong and continued to buy! I am not saying the coast is clear yet, but it will be hard to match these last three years. Maybe World War 3 is still loading? In any case, we are still standing and holding strong. Lets give ourselves high fives, it wasn't easy!

Going forward, it is probably not going to get easier, however, we need to keep our eyes on the prize!

In my many years of "service" in the NSE, FBNH has been the only stock that showed me shege. A big for nothing elephant!!! I promised not to touch it with a long pole ever again. I have only a tashere unit there now. Just seeing positive this week after over 5 years of blood. To make matter worse na Jabez dividends YOY.
