I am a huge Neymar fan but due to injuries dude has played more than 20 league games for PSG only once, and this was his record in his peak mid to late 20s.

Now he is 31 and coming to a more physically demanding league, and injury problems only increase in a player’s 30s.

If we sign him we would only be signing another doctor. Your skills and abilities are useless if you are away doing hospital shifts most of the time.

Matej Kovar just won the Czech top division title and I think he was joint top of the clean sheets table as well.

I think we should recall him for the preseason and see if there is a chance for him here. He has some interesting qualities.

You are right, but there are many ways to free up funds. One way is to recall Kovar and save money on buying another GK to compete with/replace DDG. Another way is to cash in on Kovar's successful loan and sell him for 15m and add it to the transfer funds.

Without knowing what the ownership would be it is difficult to say what is realistic and what is not.

Apart from CF we need a 1st choice No8 badly. Casemiro can't survive one more season of doing Eriksen's defensive work. Then we need a quality sub No6 for Casemiro and a CB to replace Maguire in the squad.
