[quote author=ShowYoung post=123335448] You have provided very limited information but I will try to answer as vaguely as possible. Firstly, it is possible: but how? You must be a friend of Form A, meaning, you must be able to buy foreign currency at official CBN rate. If you are able to do this, you will have solved 90% of your financial insufficiency issue. You must seek admission in a school and a course which charges not more than $12,000 as tuition fee. Then, you must travel to Canada alone first, then work while studying to have some savings. To make working as quickly as you arrive possible, you should work as a PSW. You will be able to earn and save heavily. Ensure you cut down on your rent. Food is not expensive in Canada. When you know you have enough funds, you can apply for your dependants to come join you. Dependants don't need as much money as you do: your spouse needs just $4,000 and each child $3,000 for each year. You will agree that you must apply for a one-year course. You could find courses for as little as $7,000 or more. You don't want to live in an expensive city. Lastly, you must believe you can do it. You just have to be strategic about it. I hope this helps.[/quote Pls what is PSW?? 2 Likes 1 Share |

Queenslee: That is a start, Now that you have decided to pursue PGD, you have to ask yourself which province and school (Majority of the schools that offer PGD are colleges). Then which course are you looking to do? The course will have to related to your present work if you have been working or related to your first degree if your educational gap is not long. |

Bobomaigida: Discovered this late, really painful, but it could be helpful later in canada, because some jobs like PSW mentioned here earlier could request for it, and nigeria own will fly, based on the information i have gathered. |

Hello everyone, So a little backstory, my sister, brother and my mother are already permanent residents of canada and my mum submitted a sponsorship application for me and my dad. This was in 2020, there was the pandemic so they didn't start processing it till 2021. Around July or August 2022 we sent a webform to IRCC because we weren't receiving any updates(it was a paper application), we called IRCC but they just kept saying its still in process. September 15 2022, me and my dad got an email to do medicals, and then a week or so later we got another email to submit some additional documents(police report, proof of relationship, educational certificates). In this same email they said, "You have 30 days from the date of this letter to submit additional information so that we may continue processing your application. Please note this will be the ONLY opportunity we will provide for you to submit additional evidence. Your application will be assessed in 30 days and the final decision will be based on the evidence on file at that time. If you choose not to respond with additional information, a decision will be made based on the information on file, which may result in the refusal of your application". We submitted everything. When i saw that they had requested for medicals and decision will be made in 30 days i was like okay i can even start preparing to move here so i applied to some schools, and mind you when i was applying i wasn't thinking about it from an international students perspective (although i did apply as an intl student hoping to change status soon) so i didn't exactly go for the cheapest school, domestic fee was like $7k so it wasn't bad. I got admission to one of the schools for fall 2023 in February, but the matter of study permit didn't come up because everyone was thinking oh there's still time. We tried checking the application status online but it wouldn't login, up until about 3 weeks ago when my brother randomly tried and it worked, okay o now we have access. The last thing that was written there "Medical results have been received", nothing about the other documents we submitted. Now May is almost over, webforms have been sent, still no word. Now we're thinking of going the study permit route but the international fee for this school is $32k, plus the $10k that is required, i didn't even bother converting to naira to see what it is, cause i don't know where the money will come from. I only found out about the GCMS notes last week and i told my sister to request for it, apparently it takes a month, anyway its not like we can do anything else but wait. I'm just holding onto the hope that God can make a lot of things happen between now and when i have to enroll. I'm not sure what advice i'm seeking but any would be appreciated, especially if anyone has been in this type of situation before. Thanks. |

Hello, Please I need kind opinion from the team here if the delay is normal, as most people I know received ppr almost immediately or the next day after medical was passed. This is my sister's application. She got a medical request in April 25, did the test and it was passed on 18th May but no other update. On her tracker the eligibility has also been completed. Has anyone experienced similar delay ?

OLAN2015:. Yes it has been stamped. If you submitted in Abj and and plan to pick up in person, then go pick up now. However, if it's in lag you submitted and plan to pick up in person then you wait till you are told it's ready to pick up in lag 1 Like |

Goodevening my People PPR Finally Landed Yesterday for my Brother💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼 After 2 Refusals 🥹 First Application DIY 2nd Application used an Agent Then this 3rd one after going through all the post on these Canadian Student Visa and I saw all the Positive feedbacks from a lot of people thanking @bullstriker for helping them out with their Application I decided to Mail him and get his Digits, told him all the refusal stories, and he told me he already knew what was wrong but he will still need to order the GCMS notes.. Long Story Short, I paid for his Services and I must tell you I don’t regret it one bit.. He brings out all his time to explain everything you need to know and is always ready to answer all questions .. I submitted all the documents he asked for and he assured me my brother was going to be approved even though I was super scared cos we changed school and even Course, but he kept on assuring me that it’s not a problem at all..The way he was assuring me ehh you will almost think he’s the Visa Officer Let me not bore you guys tho, but if you can’t do it yourself and you need a patient and very honest Person @bullstriker is that person.. If you can afford his services please just go ahead, you won’t even regret Thank you so so so much He did the Application on the 13th of April Upfront Medical was passed May 3rd PPR 23rd May 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼 9 Likes 2 Shares |

Moheat: U can do justice from the narration...if u have siblings or parents, i will suggest ur relative sends the money to them and then they can send it to u, then u can say ur sibling/parent dash you the money as part of ur living expenses in Canada...with that it carries more weight....but if none, just look for a narrative to call the money and make sure u do the gift deed of the money.. |

Please if an agent is helping you with the application, is is it that the school won’t contact u at all but everything would be done via the agent? Cos I haven’t gotten any mail from the school..the agent is the one in communication, filling the form and all..I got admission to Fleming college, September 2023 intake..just want to be sure I’m not being scammed..although my Medicals is next week at Qlife..please what do I need to look out for to ensure I am on track even if I am using an agent. Please any help with this |
