3 vs 1 counter and we blew it!!! Why!!! We should be killing this off.

The boys are not relenting anyway and Daga has been quite the mad man at CDM. Blocking and harassing everything in blue. Lol and to add to that, his footwork is a delight on the ball.

Jude Sunday Golazo!!!

What a sweet goal!!! Beautiful sprint past the Italian defender, controls and picks his spot past the GK.

Mad goal. He has finally gotten a goal worthy of his talents.

grin I'm waiting for match to end with the boys winning and then we can drag the monikers that said Italy will win
Especially those who lost their money on 1.80 Italy losing to 4 odds Nigeria. grin

What a win. The most attacking gameplay of any Nigerian team since Osimhen's flying eagles set.

Coach man of the match.

Hamiru Sarki. A star is born.

Emmanuel number 19 na confirm bull. He harassed and unsettled the Italian defense.

Nonstop runs, strength and aggressiveness. He should be a starter

FT Nigeria wins!

I love this team I won't lie, they are not your typical team with flair, but they are a well-oiled unit, very efficient and solid. I see them beating Brazil to top the group.

the team is not bad, the only problem I think is the 2 full backs

The best midfield trio should be daga, nnadi and eletu

Sarki should be starting, so should Emmanuel

daga is the fulcrum of that team. His injury during the afcon actually affected the dynamics of that team. I like the lad

Bosso obviously listening.

I wanted a midfield 3 of Daga-Eletu-Nnadi starting this game.

Bosso switched to that midfield 3 immediately as the second half began and we gained even more control in the middle and final third. Part of the reasons why we started getting threatening counter attack situations vs Italy.

The switch to my preferred midfield 3 and the introduction of Umeh (a striker who can also wing-play) to operate as a false winger in support of fago really has paid off.

Well done on this Bosso.

#MDU20WCDiaries.

Maybe he's on Nairaland. grin

Omo...Brazil go see 'mechanic resurrection' football and run. grin grin

That was an impressive performance. This is what happens when you invite the right players. Some Nigerian coaches may definitely has the tactical knowledge but egunje no go let them call up suitable players.

Kudos to the goalkeeper...his calmness and composure especially with aerial ball is impressive. He is miles better than Oga NEPA.

I think the guys form was down before the afcon so he lost his place. However I like as he comes in later in the game when the opponents strength is not there anymore. Nigeria would have killed this game. Sincerely they truly surprised me today

These boys still have problems with finishing. Chai.

This was easily a 5-0 match. I like how the ref wasn't having any of those rubbish cheap foul the Italian boys were looking for. Our passing is very sweet. I give them that one.

If this is the Italians that beat Brazil, then we will easily beat those ones, but waste chances. Thanks to VaR for maintaining the tempo of this game. That Agbalaka handball would have ruined this game. Nice Allison moment for that Sunday goal.

Seems the fans will turn up to enjoy our last game. We really entertained the crowd. Lovely.

Never gave them a chance. Now they are through to next round.

Notable performance

Ogwuche
Bameyi(this guy just dey blow nose all over the pitch. Kilode?)🀣🀣🀣🀣
Eletu

I wasn't impressed by Salim Fago even though he scored. Guy wasted chances mehn. But nice teamwork.

Overall i wished they shot direct at goal than trying to give inbox passes that fizzles out the attack. I counter over 11 such times that a shot would have stunned their goalie but they passed and wasted.πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎ
