I don't blame the government for treating teachers with utmost disdain, what is our union doing to ameliorate our working conditions? Absolutely nothing. We should endeavor to vote out all those old hags that are afraid to go on strike to achieve their aim, the union only cares about their dues that's why the government can't take us serious.

How many new teachers have supported and voted for any new teachers for any elective position in NUT either at LGA or State level? We have the majority to decide a new leadership in NUT at both LGA and State level but still end up subscribing to the leadership of the old teachers who are looking for means to amass wealth for their retirement from service.
