I hold a bachelor's degree in History and International Studies from the University of Ilorin and have been working full time at National Orientation Agency (NOA) Lagos, since 2019. I am 33 yrs old, and i 've so far not been lucky with the express entry route.

I intend to use the student visa route with a focus on PGD Human Resources Management (HMPD) at Cambrian College but i am not sure if my first degree in History and International Studies would consider by the consular to allign with my planned PGD porgram at Cambrian college.

I would appreciate useful comments and suggestions on other PGD programs i could consider.

Guys please I have a very important question to ask

I have an admission in Fleming College to study Project Management 1 year program(Graduate Certificate), I also have an admission to study Civil Engineering Technology 3 years (Ontario College Advanced Diploma) . The issue I am having is that I already have a Bsc degree in Building Technology, I graduated in 2016 and I have been working as a structural engineer for over 5 years now at age 30.

1. Which of this courses has a higher chances to be granted a study permit in terms of academic and career progression? I'm considering the Graduate certificate because its cheap and less longer. Also is it advisable to use a Mortgage Bank statement for POF

2. In terms of paying tuition deposit fee, Apart from Form A which I'm hearing involves tax clearance, what other site or platform one can use in paying the fees that is cheaper than black market rate because I have 30 days to make payment?

Whats your advice please? Thank you

No Sir, the documents are submitted once especially your POF and SOP/Client Information.

You can add additional documents via WEBFORM (eMedicals and such) but not the major documents.

Muslimahxo:

Ohh I understand. About the permit application, is it a submit everything at once thing or a step by step process? Because this proof of funds issue is still touch and go at the moment. If it's feasible to just get in the application first and kind of sort things out along the way?

Sanmile21:
Application taking long doesn’t it still show it has a better chance of getting approved than denied cause I know some people it takes less than a month or a month they see refusal

Processing time does not guarantee approval, some applications have spent 6 months and were denied why some have been approved in a month. NO ONE knows how IRCC works. The only indication that helps is if you receive medical request then you are 90% sure of approval.

1. This is the regular police character certificate, they require one from you, however, the one you get must me after July 1st 2023.
2. Vulnerable check is done by their own police for people that intend to work for with vulnerable people. You need to contact them tom know how to apply for this.
3. You should have this if you are trained medical personnel.

Hi everyone, I tried raising a webform to Nairobi concerning my application , but got a response from them that my application is not processed in their office.

Does that mean it’s been processed in other IRCC office in Nigeria?

Would appreciate a response.

Good day everyone. What are the necessary vaccines I must take before going to Canada, Ontario? This is my first time and I’ve no idea. Btw, I only took the Covid 19 vaccine once. Do I need to complete the Covid 19 vaccine by taking the injection 3 times? And also, do I need a yellow fever card? Pls I need your help. My school is centennial college. Sept 2023 intake. Got my ppr already.

Good day, please I’m about to pay my tuition deposit for Fleming college also. Are you paying the $2300( non refundable) or first semester payment. Which is compulsory?

I'm meant to pay the first semester fee payment which is the only option they gave me. I haven't chosen Fleming yet. How do you plan on making the payment?

Hello house,
Has anyone going to college use Access Bank for form A application to pay fees recently? Does Access Bank accepts form A for college tuition fee payment?

You don't need a transit visa to Doha and from DOha direct to anywhere in Canada since it Qatar airline ; but you will need transit visa if Qatar airline lifts you from Doha, touches you down in another country, before taking you to canada.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by drhammed: 5:05pm On May 26, 2023
Let me answer the first part and allow those grounded on the 2nd part to answer.

I'd advise you to do the Postgraduate Diploma instead of just a Graduate Certificate program. Are you sure the "Graduate Certificate program" will be qualified for PGWP? If you do a certificate program that is < 8 months (I'm afraid you're not qualified for PGWP). If it's 1yr (you'll most likely get a 1yr PWGP and that may put you under unnecessary pressure). The best thing to do here is to enroll for at least a 16-month program. That way, you can get ~3yrs PGWP (which I assume your overall goal is to get your Permanent Residency in Canada?).

Best wishes

Good day everyone one.
Please I have some questions, and I need urgent answers.
I got admission for post graduate diploma at cape Breton novia Scotia, my start date is may 1st, and my visa just arrived yesterday. I decided to defer to September start since I have as alternate start date on my letter of acceptance.I'm deferring because I have some issues to sort out before leaving.
Will I have issues at POE if I decided to go in early June?
Thanks.

Hi, I’m planning on moving to Novia this year, can we connect maybe on WhatsApp
