Good day bro,

Please use your internet more. You can search most of these things online.

Infoagents:

I provided : i.court marriage certificate of him with my sister
ii.sworn affidavit of sponsorship
iii.sworn affidavit of relationship to sponsor
iv.letter of sponsorship with company letter head signed by him the ceo and 1 and only director.
v.sponsor’s ID ( international passport) x and director’s ID too.
vi.birth certificates (sponsor,my sister,mine)
…and other supporting documents
NB: My application is abit complicated I could understand , also please suggest future solutions too going forward..
First, Torrens is no longer a level 1 school which means you had to provide additional evidence to justify the grant of a visa.
Here is my advise;

1. Change your sponsor to a close relative such as your dad, mum or your blood siblings. Using an in-law is always risky and hard to prove that the money will be made available to you. Make sure your sponsor provides all the relevant financial documents to support your application. If your sponsor has assets or properties, please include them as well. Also try to boost your account with some money to show that you are in a good financial position. This will strengthen your financial ties. I can see you have included a land property which is good. I hope the property is in your name.

2. You have not shown any evidence that you currently have a job that you are returning to. If you currently have a job, please get a reference letter from your company stating that they are granting you a study leave to further your studies. Also get them to state that upon completion of your studies you will be coming back to take a senior managerial position which will 2x or 3x your current salary. You can get them to state the salary as well. Please make sure you include your payslip and company photo I.D as evidence that you work for the company. This will strengthen your home ties.

3. Get a letter from your community head stating that you actively volunteer and participate in a community project to help boost and support your community. Make sure it's related to the course you are going to study. This will strengthen your social ties.

4. Finally, make sure you update your SOP to include all the above details and make sure it is well structured and convincing.

Since you have been refused twice in a short space you need to provide a very strong evidence that will strengthen your application. If you can address all the above, then you would increase your chance of securing a visa. I wish you all the best!!

His situation is beyond a strong SOP. Let him list the evidence he provided and it will become clear why he was refused.

I was meant to say GTE

Thank you. My commencement date is 29th May though.

Good luck. A decision would usually be made a week or 2 before commencement.

correct me if I am wrong. You are/will be be on a dependent visa and you are looking for routes for PR?
Couple of things!
1) Your wife can be the principal applicant for PR if she is doing a course that has a pathway to PR.
You can assist her by doing an assessment for your course and getting a good score for PTE/IELTS
2)You can look for a course that has a pathway to PR and study. Please be mindful of this. Masters on some courses won't do much for you, what they consider is your bachelors (e.g Engineering) so you need to keep that in mind when making your choice. Secondly, if you are on dependant visa you cannot study a bachelors or masters. You might need to concentrate on working, saving up and supporting your wife. When she is done with school and you feel the need to go to school too, you can apply for a student visa and she can be your dependent. also note that your wife will get 2/3 years post study visa so you might want to play around with that (using most of it to hussle and switching to study when it's about to expire then she goes under your own student visa as your dependent)
3) You need to look into Canada too. They have a PR system similar to Australia. It's good to have a couple of options so you dnt go back to Tinubu🙄.

Aren't you meant to have a supervisor for masters by research or he's going to find one for you as well? Why didn't he apply for it straight away without going through the hassle of masters by coursework. Be sure he's not trying to rip you off with another application fee.

A lot of people have applied for visa without IELTS, unless it's a new rule I'm not aware of. If your school offered admission without ielts, you can as well apply for visa without it. I used IELTS for mine because I had it, I also know people who did without IELTS
pls what are the in demand courses available for masters by research ? Thanks

I’m in similar position, i have my visa but my passport expires in 3 months. I have been waiting for 2 months after capturing. My uni starts June 5. The immigration officer said it’s in programming for a week now

Thank you for your response. My wife will be able to travel. Book Qatar airways and also go to the airport to confirm. Australia accept passport to be valid on arrival and not necessary to be 6 months valid.

Thank you so much I really appreciate this , I’ll work on them tho I have already done things like you mentioned already (reference letters , leave letter from my current employer, landed property in my name ) I’ll work on the rest and come back stronger with a level 1 school . Thank you 🙏

i.I provided my marriage certificate
iI.1 landed property
iii.I also included in my SOP that I have siblings and all of them are in my home country.
Did you also write in your Sop that you are currently employed and returning back to your employer, and attached a letter of leave to that effect?
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Softkey(m): 12:42am On May 28, 2023
While using parents or siblings as sponsor is preferable, I don’t think there’s an issue in using an in-law if you perfect your documents and stories well.

I and my wife sponsored my brother in law and it was also Torrens university.

Below are the documents submitted if that would help later.

On my side
I and my wife’s employment letters
I and my wife’s payslips
Joint account statement
House and landed property documents
Joint letter from me and my wife confirming why we want to sponsor him
Our passports
Marriage certificate + Wife’s change of name newspaper

I’ll advise you make it a joint sponsorship (your in-law and his wife which is your sister). That makes it more stronger.

On his side
Employment letter
Payslips
Reference letter from work stating how valuable he his to the company
Promotion letter
Study Leave letter
SOP stating he’ll return back to his work with his new position

NOTE: i would advise you give Australia a break of a year minimum before trying the study route again. They’ve seen the desperation in your application already and applying again now might birth the same result.

Most importantly, your SOP and your sponsor letter would play a key role. Make sure it’s very convincing and align it with every documents you’re submitting so it sync.
