Will you ever be bothered if Otedola's daughters (Cuppy, Teni, etc) tell you that they live in one of their parents' homes in London, Abuja, etc?

The things poor people talk and worry about are some of the reasons they hardly make significant progress.

Let the so-called innocent person go into crime if he thinks that's the easy route to success, I can bet it with you he still won't succeed or his success short-lived. Even in civilized economy, there are many homeless people in America. The message is clear.

Pray you shouldn't be in others people's shoe..... Do u think life is easy like that... If you happen to find yourself in environment that's uncivilized do u think u will be able to meet up with your daily needs.. dis your statement alone can Make an innocent person to go into crime.

Decided to stay in my father's house so I can spend all my money on it and make it up to standard before I travel out God willing. rather than give it to a landlord by the ways its a3 bedroom apartment owned by my dad. grew up here everyone around know meto be quite reserved.just to prove am an adult babe doesn't want to stay here with me, well I no send cos in the end its in our best interest. My comment is not meant to comfort or pity you. Nobody has it easy in life. Even in civilized countries, there are poor people. You either do the work, make the sacrifices and activate the grace of God in your life or continue to make excuses and live the life your fore-fathers lived.

It is okay but The question is What are you still doing in your parents house at that age?
what if the parents are not living there, the parents has two to three houses in different cities.??
Re: Is It Ok For A Guy To Be Living With His Parents At Age 32-39 ? by Edipet(m): 8:34am On May 27, 2023
It depends on the family. In my family Case my Dad prefer us to move to our own house rather than paying rent, my dad lives in another house outside the city. While I lived in is house in the city. My father doesn't allow us to move out, his reason his that " if we don't stay in his house, who do we want to come and stay" I and my brother has been living here because it's a 3(2bedroom flat) since we came back from service. But This your topic has always made me to feel bad about myself for not having my own house, not only your topic wen I see my mate paying for house rent.
My senior Brother is using the money that he should be using to pay rent to build his personal house.
I also know one guy that is 40, he stays in his father's house because his father has so many houses and land, note: the guy has money to rent his house and he is earning big.

I moved out of my parents house at 16, not because of anything but because my dad was too difficult and we didn't get along. Didn't want to be in his shadow.

For the next 2 years I was in the streets of Aba, from MCC to Osisioma, to Ariara to Ngwa to Umuojima joggling between 2-3 jobs.

I gained admission and would only go home for maybe a week or so, other days I was busy doing my own thing.
After I finished NYSC, i invested in a right business which turned out to be wrong and I went flat broke.

I moved back to a single room and started doing all kinds of things to survive. It was so bad that I had to go back to my parents house for one month before I got my shit together again.

Honestly as I tell you, there were some of my friends who were still in their parents house until they were 30, but now they are so rich and successful that I don't even come close at all.

The point is, whether you leave your parents house at 16, 26 or 36.

What works for everyone is different. Some guys are making 10Mil monthly and they are still living with their parents.

Some just love the company of their parents. Don't pressure anyone, let people live the way they want

A man who is living with his parents at that age need not concern himself with what ladies think but rather with how he can get his own place and house first. undecided

There is nothing wrong with living with your parents at that age but it is utterly wrong if such a one has still not figured out his priorities at that point in life. undecided
first time I'm agreeing with you.

there are women who will accept it and even move in with him after marriage. While many ladies will reject him. Shebi na one wife/ babe he need find am
I'm 33 living with my parents.
They are old and advance in age, I'm the only one taking care of them, if I leave them and get a house of my own because of one evil daughter of Jezebel I wonder who will take care of them.
That's what one useless girl I was dating tried to separate me from them till the God my parents served chased her away.
Also the bills I would have used for rent I saved it for years and use it to buy a land, working to build my own house while still staying under my parents roof and taking care of us with my current job
nokspos:
we leave our parent home too early in africa but for the wrong reason, there's nothing bad living with your parent as long as he's working and can afford an apartment.

It's the truth bruv. Here in Nigeria, we just like mounting unnecessary pressure on people , because we are too egoistical and dumb.

That's why you'll see some people come out to say "If you've not made your first 1million by 25, you are a failure" , "if you are 25 and you don't have your own house , you are not a man enough", "if you are 25 and you are still in your parents house, you are lazy and weak".

So what happens to someone who makes his first 1million at 25 and blows all his money before 30? And someone who makes his first 1 million at 30 and later goes on to be a billionaire?
I know when I made my first big money, and how it went all off, because I was too young to understand the principle of money.

What happens to someone who moves out of his parents' house at 19 but returns at 40 because he no longer has shit goin on for him, and someone who moves out at 40 and later goes on to own estates and malibles.

In India, most of the family live together. No matter how rich you are, you'll live with your extended family.

As a man, if you are still living with your parents at 40, you are not a failure. If you've still not made your first 1million at 30 you are not a failure.

Just be sure within yourself that you are doing something to change the situation. As long as you are not idle. You are a champ.

lol, how can you be comparing adult female children living in their parents house with an adult male child of over 30 years still leeching off his parents... You guys should try and reason logically.

that's a different things entirely. What you mean is, the parent had gifted the house to him as his property and he's on his own and cater for himself. So it's not the same thing as living together with his parents or still under his parents.
