Dude, what's your problem with Yoruba people, celebrate your local infatrauture and stop hating on the majority tribe there is nothing suggesting the dude is Yoruba.

And Ubong or Uband or whatever, there is nothing wrong in celebrating FDI or Yoruba celebrating dangote refinery. So, STFU!

As a nation, we need to stop government officials embarking on these senseless projects and in the same vein STOP these publicity the citizens give to these things.

What is the Socio-Economic benefit of public fountain in a society in Nigeria?

Government officials are supposed to fix the problems or issues preventing the citizens from economic and social improvement. The road or lights or fountain is NOT going to improve the lot of anyone living in that axis.

The only thing government officials are interested in is projects that construction contracts are awarded. How will the fountain be supplied with water? How will the pump be powered or the lights?

In 6 months, that project will be done and abandoned with no impact on the community it was situated.

No you don't. Nothing is done. And just like the Ibakka (turned Ibom) deepseaport, unless the next administration takes it seriously, and quit playing politics with it, Akwa Ibom would have wasted another 8 years.
