The Senegalese number 4 is destined for the top.
Columbia did not need this game yet played so well.
They could have easily won this match despite giving Senegal a gift.
I will like to avoid them in the quarters!

Brazil will play their Round of 16 there. Heard the commentator say so.

Nigeria will not play there again unless we reach the Semis and Final.
The less said by me on that pitch, the better.

This u20 truly get as e be. No wonder African teams barely make waves. Team has to well oiled plus taking chances>>>>>> team pedigree.

That potato farm we played on, i hope that's the last we are playing there?Smh

My brother. That game go dey ooo.
But if a 3rd placed team qualifies from Group C we might avoid Argentina & play USA ooo. For that to happen, Uruguay must beat Tunisia silly by 4-0 tomorrow so that Tunisia will have (-2) as goal difference and lose out while Japan qualifies with their (-1) goal difference. I hate using calculators to solve these kinds of cases

Lol not happening. That game is going to end in a draw. It might even be a goalless draw. Prepare for Argentina.

Marjoribanks:
Bameyi at right back is a much better player than Njoku. Njoku had zero crosses, zero long ball. Nothing despite overlapping for much of the first half....

You always sound so unintelligent and out of sorts when you type to make your points with BLOODY LIES.

You said this above yet Njoku recorded 100% accurate crosses. And delivered 5 accurate long balls. He had the best passing range on the day among all the Defenders followed by Abel Ogwuche. He linked up plays up and down that right and also recorded the best defensive stats of all our defenders.

But NOTHING is how you define it. Meanwhile Bameyi couldn't keep up.

You even switched to Chances creation forgetting that Bameyi also didn't create anything (zero key passes) vs Italy from RB. Lol

You are just a blind biased Super Poor Analyst with takes as poor as Bameyi's technical quality.

Keep running your bameyi agenda but lying only makes it worse and empty. Loquacious entity.

That's not the point. The point is he was not the cause of the second goal. Shikena!

Deservedly. I agree 100%.

Conquering Africa is one thing. Proving that title as Champs of the continent on the world stage is another. Senegal have been unimpressive at this WC for the most parts.

I think only Seydou Sano (CB) impressed me in that team.

More like Just Luka Romero and Eletu. There is no Taiwo equivalent in this team. Even Agbalaka has been basic and just decent but he's been better than Bameyi at least.

Taiye Taiwo>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Daniel Bameyi

They shouldn't be in the same sentence and if ever in a sentence together, shouldn't be in the same line of the same sentence.

I'm just here anticipating a midfield battle of Federico Redondo and Maximo Perrone vs Daniel Daga and Victor Eletu if we are indeed confirmed to face the Argentines in the round of 16.

That would be midfield battle of this tournament in my books and that depends on if Mascherano starts Redondo because the lad isn't a starter and only started against New Zealand but covered himself in fine glory with a virtuoso busquets-like display. Time will tell.

Naija Cadet Football news

Nigeria’s U16 boys, otherwise known as Future Eagles depart the country’s shores today to participate in this year’s Dream Cup Invitational Tournament.

The Boys will play Japan, Netherlands and USA. Tournament starts 31st of May-5th of June.

Mees Palace FA, Jo's contributed 2 players. One of which is a GK.

Remo Stars' BLFA contributed 4 players. Promise Meliga is one of them. I spoke of him on this thread before (Check next post).

June 21, 2022. Post Below 👇🏽

Promise Meliga has also been tearing things up alongside 16 Yr old Super Striker, Arierhi Kparobo for Remo Stars' BLFA in the National League One and they just got promoted to the Nigerian National League (NNL). Kparobo scored one of the goals (a consistent young striker who I feel can grow to become another Osimhen if moulded properly).

TheSuperNerd:

Naija Talents Watch: Promise Meliga, 15yrs, Beyond Limits Academy/Remo Stars

Highly talented yet frail looking. His potentials and possible levels of talent growth is obviously tied directly to how fast he physically develops. The physically smallest of his mates yet hugely talented.

A forward thinking player who excels anywhere across the final third as an attacking midfielder, winger or forward. As his development continues, his most preferred role will become much clearer.

A lad tipped for great things but needs more time to make the step up physically like the likes of Chigozie Ohamesi and Ariehi Kparabo (2 other young talents and mates of Meliga who are physically more mature for now).

Remember the name.
