You can also try it this way.

Go to the sign-in page for GCKey.

Click the link below.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html

Click "Forget your username."

Enter the email address from which you received the updates. If that email address is registered with your account, then your username will be sent to that email address.

If you receive your username through the email, then go back to the IRCC sign-in page to reset your password.

If an email address is not registered with an application, Canada Immigration will not send an update to that email address.

In your case, since you received updates through email, it means you have the right email address registered to your account.

I believe you can use that email to retrieve your ircc sign-in information

I told him same. I'm not sure of why he's not understanding that part.
He should reset his email password in order to have access to his email and then reset his IRCC online access.

I couldn't share my contacts here because of very obvious reasons, most NL peeps graduate to very lousy and lackadaisical behaviours hence I didn't bother sharing my connects with him.

Application Date: 11th April 2022
BVL: 6th May 2023
PPR: 26th May 2023
It was the longest wait of my visa application experience .
I'll like to thank everyone here who at one point or the other put informations on this platform, I read almost everything and I put them to good use.
Special thanks to @Olasubomy,for his selflessness and encouragement all through this journey.

Hello all, I thought to encourage all those that got BVL and waiting on PPR like me.
I applied 2022 April to visit a friend with my family,we were just a family of 3 last year when we applied but I have a 7month old now.
BLV dropped for the 3 of us on May 6 2023
I had notified IRCC about the new born sometimes in Nov 2022 through Webform.
I sent another webform last week to ask if I could send in my new born's application and I got a reply same day asking me to go ahead.
Meanwhile,I had tracked our own applications after BVL dropped and I saw the visa numbers but yet no PPR yet.
To cut the story short, I applied for the new born on 21st May 2023 and today 23rd of may 2023I got a notification for PPR for the baby.
Amazingly, the 2022 application was so that my wife could give birth to the same baby in canada but PPR didn't come till now but the baby we were planning for got PPR before us.
I pray for as many still trusting God for PPR, God will come through for you all and our expectations will not be cut off.(Amen)

PPR just came in!!!!
Application date: November 19 2022
BVL: April 23 2023
PPR: May 29 2023

I had to send them a compelling email though, I don't know if it worked or it was just coincidence

But only my PPR came out, still waiting for my wife and child's. My wife's BVL came on April 27, so I guess that's why her ppr is yet to drop. Hopeful to get it in a few days.

Funny thing is, my tracker status still shows "in progress" and I have already received the PPR

We applied for visitor visa btw... for tourism, not even to visit family or anything like that. So if it was my email that did the trick, I guess everyone should try and send them emails if you have received BVL and have visa number already on the tracker. Here's the email I sent just for anyone who needs it

Dear Visa Officer,

My name is [name here], I am writing to you regarding the application for Temporary Residents Visa for myself and my family. The application was submitted on November 19, 2022

My wife and I received a biometric verification letter on April 23 and 27 2023 respectively without a decision, I also received a letter to submit additional documents (birth certificate) for our daughter on May 18 2023 which I submitted on the same day.

The absence of the decision letter is preventing us from making appropriate travel plans as a family.

We are scheduled for a Schengen visa interview on May 31 2023, on that day, we will be submitting our passport for the Schengen visa. We are worried that our passport might still be at the Visa office for Schengen when we get a decision from Canada and we will be unable to take any action. We just recently had a similar issue a few weeks back when I submitted my passport to the US embassy for the renewal of my visa, the embassy took longer than expected in returning my passport and it affected other travel plans that I had made for another country. I had to cancel a hotel booking from booking.com which I have yet to receive a refund for till today and it's not looking like i will be getting a refund.

We are hoping to avoid a similar occurrence which is why we have decided to postpone our Schengen visa interview date till July. However, the July postponement will only work if we get a decision from Canada soon. In the absence of a decision, we would have to keep postponing the interview because of the fear of having our passport at the Schengen visa office if we get a passport request from Canada.

I kindly request your understanding and compassion in considering our visa application. Approving it would make planning our summer holiday easier as my wife and I are yet to take a single day off from work since 2020. Thank you for your attention, and I eagerly await your favorable decision.

I should also point out that i received a reply immediately saying that they did not receive my submission for my daughter's birth certificate on the portal, so I had to resend it by email, and it was day 9 out of the 10 days they gave me to submit. If I didn't send the email, I would never have known and Mayne we would have been denied for that reason. My point is, it's a good idea to send the email

Good Morning All,Please is there any difference submitting passport in VFS Abuja compared to VFS Lagos in terms of speed in getting the stamped passport back ? VFS Lagos is open today as said above. Also if one wants it stamped same week as submission, can one send an email or webform because the conference the visa is meant for starts next week Monday meaning one has to leave this weekend. Thank you.
