Flying Eagles vs Argentina in the Round of 16 on 31st May in San Juan.

We are facing the Host!
i don't see the flying eagles winning. African teams find it hard beat south American teams. If it was an European or asia team, my hope will be high.

Aribo and Onuachu are probably not going anywhere. Iheanacho, maybe especially because of his high wages but Ndidi might even become Leicester's captain.

Awoniyi reaching double digits in his first season is a testament that players who passed thru Nigeria's youth ranks can perform very well in the premiership contrary to the narrative someone loves to push on here.

It's even more impressive that he got those figures playing for one of the worst teams in the division.
Yes poor team, out injured for two months and scored 10 epl goals.Kudos to Awo boy

The Road to Atlanta 96 Gold was very similar.
Managing to beat Hungary 1-0 courtesy of a 2nd half strike by Nwankwo Kanu while Japan beat Brazil 1-0 in the other group match. It was followed by a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Japan and a loss to Brazil (0-1) before beating Mexico 2-0 in the Quarter-finals. In same hope I predict ARGENTINA UNDER 20 v NIGERIA UNDER 20(1-4).

Ndidi will not get a better EPL club if any.

KC, Ndidi will opt to stay in the Championship 🏆 with Leicester City , because nobody is going to pay them their current wages and or any better transfer fee.

They will run out their current contracts to the last day .

What hope did you give yourself? Nigeria u20 played a 3-3 draw with Colombia u20 in a warm up match few days to the kickoff.
Many of you don't know that Argentina placed 4th in a group of 5 teams in the first stage of the South-American qualifiers. They didn't make the final stage of 6teams. Their presence is because of Indonesia's religious stand towards Israel and the hosting rights being stripped off them.
Guatemala, New Zealand and Uzbekistan are not Nations to use as yardstick for their performances.
Argentine u20 team is just name and not threat.
Our boys had already qualified going into the last group game and will come out hot from kickoff against the Argentines
This is not hope.

Rumour that Inter wants Iheanacho
If this is true he should go to Italy in my opinion
Going to be extremely hard for teams except man city to win the league
