DejiiiiB: I suppose the two-year program is a diploma program and the three-year advance diploma. If this is true, you will be ready to address two issues alongside others: viz, academic or career progression and large POF required. Since you have had a bachelor degree, why not apply to a post graduate level courses? Post Graduate Diploma or Post Graduate Certificate is a 1 year or more for some courses. Master Degree ranges from 1 year to 2 years. |

Lina231: For what purpose is the lawyer employed? Is it for the purpose of study permit or to fight the PFL? For whatever reason, you need no Nigeria lawyer. You also need no lawyer for study permit application. The only time you need a lawyer is to address a ban or inadmissibility or to challenge a decision. Only a Canadian immigration lawyer can do this and not a Nigerian lawyer. Meanwhile, if you believe you cannot competently respond to the PFL, you can seek the advice of a professional and not necessarily a lawyer. 2 Likes |

Laycoln: Please back off. Do not be scammed!!! While I don't dispute the fact that you can employ the service of a honest and competent agent to handle the process which you can handle except you are not willing to do yourself, I have 99.9% suspicion that this agent you claimed asked you to bring 2.5m for a start for the process is not straightforward with you. 1 Like |

Laycoln: Don’t login on your phone…Try use a laptop and also I don’t think you might be able to get a 3 years courses in Graphics Design I will advice if possible you can do like a 3-6 months certificate course maybe online or in Nigeria before applying, because they will check if you have experience in the course you applying for. 1 Like |

kobobay: What the Tax Clearance Certificate for? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by ShowYoung: 12:58pm On May 30, 2023 |
Laycoln: Please stop and get the analysis of the deep water you want to jump into. If you applied to a three-year course, are you ready to provide the POF that can cover the three years? Let us suppose that your yearly tuition fee is $15,000 and you want to take out possible risk of visa refusal due to financial resources, are you aware that you would need to show that you have $45,000 to cover your tuition fee for the three years? Are you aware that you would need to show $30,000 living expenses for the three years? Since you have HND in Marketing, why not apply for Post Graduate Diploma? How do you want to justify the relationship between Marketing and Graphic Design? Is your current profession graphic design? Kindly take the above calculation and instances into account, compare with your 7m and make a decision. 1 Like |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by DejiiiiB: 1:20pm On May 30, 2023 |
ShowYoung: The two year program is Diploma program, but the duration is just 16 months, but for the advance Diploma which is the 3 years program is 24 months. I applied to a different school last year and I started the online class, but my application took 8 months before I could hear back from IRCC and I was later denied, because by that time they ask me provide my updated LOA within 7 days, but the school already revoke my admission due to late payment of tution..I later paid and the school still requested I pay for the courses I have to retake before they could reinstate my admission, which I couldn’t provide within 7 days. The course I applied for then was Business in Digital Management. So I’m just skeptical about the 3 years diploma and the amount of POF I have to provide and also if I’m addressing my previous refusal I will have to give VO a good explanation on why I’m switching course. What do you think ? |

taymmy: How much is the Deposit Fee you paid? How many years is the MBA program? If the school fee for a year is 23900 CAD, which I believe should be half of the tuition. How come the total is fee is 39640 CAD? |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by ShowYoung: 1:33pm On May 30, 2023 |
DejiiiiB: If a program reads 3 years, it is a three-year course. When they say 1 year, they don't actually necessarily mean 12 calendar months. Before you apply, I am already seeing gray areas: viz, academic/career progression and financial insufficiency. It is a wise decision to eliminate or mitigate against any seen and known risk. You will do well to address them. 1 Like |
