The Nigerian first lady, Remi Tinubu, has been criticized online for breaking protocol, less than 24 hours after her husband, Bola Tinubu assumed office.

Naija News reports that a photo making the rounds online captured Remi, the President, and vice president, Kashim Shettima during a meeting on economic matters.

The viral photo is reportedly from the meeting of Tinubu with the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, and the Group Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Mele Kyari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

It is uncertain if she took part in the meeting but many Nigerians have taken to social media to express their reservation about the photo.

Senator(Mrs) Remi Tinubu, the 1st Lady, is actually currently a Senator of the Federal Republic. She is the Senator representing Lagos Central Federal constituency and her tenure ends when this current National Assembly ends its tenure on June 12.

She is eminently qualified to be at that table. I recall her complaining then that the CBN Gov shut down the vaults but God still favoured them. It's good she can see face to face with Emefiele and tell him how his actions against them failed. She is bold and fearless like Mrs Aisha Buhari too.

We should take Same ediots that were crying that Aisha was told to go to the other room despite her lack of experience in politics and governance seriously?

Infact having remi tinubu be a part and parcel of the current dispensation will be like having 2 capable presidents. For the first time since 1999, Nigeria is actually having a first lady that is not a trophy wife and trophy first lady that is only good at nothing than look pretty for camera and spend money expensive cloths and jewelry and dance around with other women to embarrass their husbands.

We now first lady who has actual experience in governance and politics to help her husband In dealing with national issue.
