My passport got to Abuja vfs last week Thursday, I just got a message it’s available for pickup in Lagos. Everything took just a week.

Hi guys. My tracker got updated yesterday, May 31st since April 19th. And I saw this information there:

'We received the information you sent us. We’ll review it and let you know if we need any other information from you.'

Please note that I didn't upload any additonal documents, my eligibility has not started and my background check is still in progress? Did anyone experience same? Does this mean PPR will be out soon? This anxiety is a lot o. lol

I know someone who got BVL and PPR two days after seeing this update on her tracker, did anyone else experience this?

I don’t really understand that visa category, I guess u meant Spouse open work permit. Well you can apply, just back it up with pictures (early relationship days, dates, wedding) evidence along with your marriage certificate.

I sent a webform and they told me they will send the next step or decision once review is completed. Still nothing today is the second day. How effective is webform please? And it's not automatic response mail oo, I just don't understand.

If she’s applying after wedding, it’s fine. Just included the documents I stated earlier.

If she’s applying before wedding, you can’t apply as a married spouse then. You can try common in-law route. What you need is proof of relationship n also proof that you’ve bn staying together for a year.

Read about common in-law on ircc website. I will attach a YouTube link, you can watch for better understanding.

Yes, I got a mail from Abuja vfs. I think lagos vfs operate differently. You’ve nothing to worry about, just plan 1-2wks for the whole process.

I got a passport requested letter from Canadian embassy for myself and my wife few days ago but I didn’t get for my daughter . Will VFS allow me to summit my daughter passport along with our own without her own passport requested letter? Thanks for ur advice

No, you can’t. You will need passport request letter before you can submit your daughter’s passport.

I'm getting tired small small IRCC na my mate? Since 2021 I applied visitor visa gotten bvl since April 29 Visa number on tracker since May1, I have sent many webform and email no PPR yet.

I'm waiting PPR to drop for my visitor visa since 2021, gotten Bvl on April 29 2023 and visa number on tracker since May1 2023.

Now I wanted to submit application for my study permit this month, I hope it won't affect my visitor application? Can I apply with the same portal I used for my visitor visa or can I open another email and new portal?

Lastly is it the same UCI I used for visitor application that I will use for study permit?

Hello fam, I submitted my passport in person to Vfs Lagos last week Friday 26th May 2023.
Got email from vfs 2 days ago that it has been received at IRCC Abuja.
But haven’t gotten any email yet since then.. how long more should I wait before it will be ready for collection
My flight is in 12 days time …
