NLC didn't protest when the law to deregulate the downstream sector was being passed

Tinubu is not a dictator, he can't rescind the laws, it's up to the Senate. This is mediocrity on the part of NLC, they should have protested when the law was being passed, this protest is immoral.

90% of which Nigerians?

It’s like you are not reading the room. Check the pulse of the people and equate it to previous pronouncement of subsidy removal by previous president.

Abeg no mention that boy called Obi, I don’t have time to waste on him coz we have real governance to bother about.

We are now in power!

E be like say this NLC threat they choke you seriously.

So today Tinubu is seriously worried about the tribunal and now the unprofessionally and incompetently-induced fuel price skyrocketing.

Tinubu must be wishing he didn't make this huge mistake.
The opposition parties have not taken advantage of it yet, but it will definitely come, possibly once the strikes begin, unless Tinubu is forced to lick up his vomit by reverting the price of petrol grin grin

You think everybody can afford it like you do?
How can you pay someone 30k minimum wage a whole fu!..ck..ing month and expect them to buy fuel 490?
If you increase the fuel price by over 100 percent, then increase their salary same way so that they can afford that.
People striking are not business people, but people paid salary.
How do you expect them to survive?
Nigerian leaders are idiots.
In the US, fuel are sold by gallons (3.4 liters a gallon) Hovers around $2.9 to $4 depending on where you live. But the lowest minimum hourly wage in America is like $14.
So people can actually afford the fuel.

You have said everything I want to say. Kudos!

NLC leadership just dey bluff. Just let’s wait and see if they have the balls to push through their threat by Wednesday.

Why not bring the palliatives first, even if it's brought in gradually, even with a proposed plan of removing subsidy in 2012 that included palliatives Tinubu and co. Say "lie lie", - we cannot trust this Government...now you want millions of masses to start suffering because they want to enjoy in future...Why did NNPC adjust their price , Why??, Just tell me...the product they have in storage the government have already paid subsidy for those product and even budgeted for June..brink the palliatives and prosecute the thieves then fully deregulate the upstream sector...

Abi. We keep voting for heartless leaders who get worse after each administration. That has to change ffs.

Jonathan's government that was dominated by yeasterners who went on mass a s rabidorruption. Why was his government hated by Nigerians - corruption, and who constituted the bulk of his corrupt government - afghanyeasterners.

People knew what would happen to the money be ce they refused it's removal
It was during Jonathan's government dominated by the O idiots of today that snakes were swallowing millions of naira and billions hidden in septic tanks, etc

Just ask your drug baron boy to reduce the price of petrol at the petrol pumps.

I don't see the NLC backing down unless Tinubu and his NNPC people offer something in return to the masses.

Peter Obi has already proven that the majority of Nigerians out there are rooting for him, which was why they voted for him. Tinubu's legitimacy will be serioiusly under threat if the strike carries on for more than a few days. Deal with this reality

You are not the only one. Infact, they are so greedy they want to corner all the money to themselves by not granting salary increments.

This is the best thing to do. I am against the removal of subsidy. I wonder why the common Nigerians are in support of this. What will the money saved from the removal of fuel subsidy do for us? Will the politicians not loot it? Do you know the hardship it has brought upon us? I regret coming from this part of the world honestly . Life is hard

The truth is .. subsidies will kill the new refineries coming on stream.

And eventually the price will still rise to 500 very soon and still be subsidized..
If the exchange rates are not going well,
Also, we should equally not complain when loans are being taken to fund Projects..while 4 trillion goes to subsidized PMS..

Cyberterror:
NLC is currently led by Joe Ajaero, an openly partisan Igbo man who is part of the Peter Obi plot to steal President Bola Tinubu's mandate and he is playing his role by destabilizing the country with planned strike even though all the major contenders in the last election including the party he is supporting, and Nigerians in general have agreed that subsidy is a scam which must go. The DSS warned against people like Ajaero who want to torment trouble and he must be arrested if he insists on the strike. What labour should be talking of now are palliatives not a reversal of the subsidy removal. Joe Ajaero is an enemy of Nigeria who must not be allowed to carry out the hatchet job he is doing for the defeated labour party.
you are a very big fool,go and arrest him na idiot, you think and talk from your anus

Like I always say, Tinubu learnt drug baronial from Obi of Onitsha.

I heard him and Obi of Onitsha always carry cocaine together and he’s now trying to buy the Obi of Onitsha palace from the drug proceeds.

Please is the above true?

NLC would fail. Joe Ajaero is an agent of LP and he's going to be disgraced next Wednesday as he proposed.

Not until then, he wouldn't know that unionism is voluntary.

Nigeria cannot continue to subsidy fuel for West African nations.

This strike will fail.
fool who is against subsidy removal now but measures sld be in place before the removal

Do you know that nothing less than 13 people begged me for food or money yesterday alone when I went out in Lagos.

More that half Nigerians won't be able to afford on meal again if we don't tackle these criminals.

Abi o, and the next best thing for Ajaero to do is to say people should not go to work because of NNPCL.
Where is The extra monie that nnpcl will make between now and June 31st where it is officially the date for the removal of subsidy.note the nnpcl will bill the fg from Jan to June for cash back for subsidy as contained in the budget.
