No I won't. It won't make sense till I work with 488/L for the next week. My engine is well maintained. After fill up yesterday, I have driven 134.8 miles.

Now convert miles to km. Then my tank is above half tank. Do the maths. I don't have time. grin

I no dey argue with you. Every means of income is reasonable. Even shit_packing. There was this man that his logo was "shit_ business is serious business"

Nigeria has happened to everyone. The reality of it all is that bills must be paid. When people realize that everything is about paying bills, they'll restrategize. For now, make everyone dey play first.

I bought fuel yesterday 15000. Total gross 56000 commission 5300.

Net 35700.

Nobody on this thread can ever give me 35700 in 15hrs if I ask for it. Today I'll go again. I have above half tank. By the time I'll buy fuel again today, I may not even use it till tomorro's hustle.

Make Dem dey complain. Me I don strategize dey cash out. I've paid all bills for yesterday. Will pay for today. That's all it's about.

It's when you realize that nobody cares about you on this thread, maybe they'll restrategize too. I go dey wait. But for now, make we dey play. grin

This is me advising any body that wants to venture into this line of hustle (drive by yourself), pls go ahead with no restraint. I can only tell u what I know and what I do.
I remember 2years ago when I was about to venture into this hustle, I planned buying a manual car, I came here to solicit for advice, what most people did was to discourage me and say a lot of demoralizing stories, and even go as far as posting traumatic pictures of drivers that drive manual cars (yam legs) grin
But there where still some people that spoke their Truth concerning my question ( I won't write there moniker so that the purpose of what I am writing won't be disturb), and I was lucky to decipher what's good for me.
I bought the manual car luckily it's in a perfect condition except for the Ac.
What I want to say is that, it's two years I am driving that car now, my legs are still fresh and fine, it doesn't ache or hurt, I have made my capital & much much more ROI, car is still in very good condition because I don't joke with maintenance.
Have there been challenges? Yes
Have I overcome? yes
Will there still be challenges? yes
Will I overcome? It's left to me.

So, yesterday (Saturday), I grossed 45k with 30L fuel.
Though I bought the fuel I've been using @184 before subsidy removal.
Now, it is obvious that definitely, 30L fuel will grosss me 45k on weekends (contrary to when fuel was @185 that I could use 30L fuel to get 35k).

ANALYSIS

Before:
Fuel 30L x N185 = 5,550 (tho, I normally buy 6k)
Indrive commission = 3,500
Total = 9,050
Gross = 35,000
Net = 35,000 - 9,050
Equal = 25,950

Henceforth:
Fuel 30L x N490 = 14,700
Indrive commission = 4,500
Total expenses = 19,200
Gross profit = 45,000
Net profit = 45,000 - 19,200
Equal = 25,800

Time and energy input seems the same.
I don't normally use weekdays for my analysis cos weekdays are a rough period that require more strategies (for me). Sometimes, they come easy, other times, they come not easy.

Much respect, bosses.

Here you are making sense. 30L is more than half tank and very feasible. I strongly believe there will be some balance in the hustle if drivers borrow themselves brain. I just did 5k to iponri from ajayi road. On the norms it use to be between 3.5 to 4k. Telling me you use half tank 25L to do 61k for 3 days after driving home for 3 days get as e b.

Airline increased their fares by over 200%. In fact at a time an average Abuja to Lagos flight costs 100,000 naira. Guess what? People still flew. Here in Abuja bolt/uber fares are so cheap even your local pepper seller can book a ride for 400 naira. In saner climes this is meant to be a luxury service. Private cabs is for people who can afford the luxury. If you no get money you can enter danfo or keke.

If the price is right, with 3-4 trips person supposed don close dey go house. Not where you see someone driving for over 13hrs! Just to hit target. Na modern day slavery we dey so.

Only people that can afford it still flew.
Airlines where shutting down.
Some where flying at 30-40% capacity.
Others had to resolve to combine flights and cancel some.
That was the reality until they reviewed the price downwards.

Same with international flights, fewer people came back home from overseas. So don't make it look like whatever price u fix something, people will go and steal and come and pay for it. If e no dey, e no dey. They will look for an alternative.
Even rich people still search for cheap services.

Uber/Bolt is actually the basic and economy package in cab services. U can see it in US, UK and other countries, the cab service is more expensive than ehailing.

Pearl sorry to say this your post is pointless... I deh omole estate like this, fuel 10k no reach half tank and that's 20L. The trips out here are not encouragin at all.

From 184 to 488 and you are expecting people not to frown at it. Even NNPC is predicting a lot, the road has been free ever since, people are trying to adjust to reality, houses can't run Gen again, but you went to act as is all is well or we all should act as if all is well. Are you devil's advocate? Just a question... take a look around, nothing is working as it used to be.

I am not clapping for Govt or supporting the new fuel price. Sorry if my posts sound that way. My focus is to people who are saying u can't earn XYZ with ABC amount of fuel.
These are two different things. Me myself have declared my thoughts on the fuel hike viz a viz the fares but the difference between me and many people is that I don't seat and cry over my challenges, I find a way around it. That I have done and moved on. If others want to wait till govt reduces the fuel price or for bolt to increase base fare to 2k, it's their choice. Please look at my posts again and u will see my focus, don't get the wrong message again.

Oga you won't blame them, I'm a part time driver since this fuel increase, the only rides I have done is when I pin my home address and take someone to that area then go home.
I had some fuel this morning and I said I should top it with 4000 fuel. I came out around 7am, can you imagine the trips I did(Four trips) till around some minutes to 9am, my fuel was back to where I met it this morning. Guess how much 4100. Are you playing? I've not paid bolt their commission o. Location is Abuja.

So you won't blame people that are not driving this period, like this in owing bolt, profit of 100 is what i have made.

Necessity is the mother of invention.
I perfectly understand the debacle Sir.
Now that we have found ourselves in this situation, what are we going to do to remain afloat? I think that's the discussions we should be having now.

Some little amount don top indrive fare small but I think the company doesn't want to slam prices on their fare so as not to chase passengers away.
Subsidy removal and fuel gone up with over 160%, we don't expect those e-hailing companies to do the same all of a sudden, it's not possible. Otherwise, many passengers go run.
Those fares that I know have added little extra, na dem I dey go for.
Well, make we sha dey use our head make we no run loss.
