All of us still deh lie for ourselves, reality will be clear soon when Lagos resume fully or one truck spoil for road. All we are striving to get now is fuel money after our usual net, with time rent, foodstuffs, school fees, beer, domitila money will add to normal and we shall be fighting to get them too.

This is mostly because the price without surge today is like the price with a 1.7 surge when you started.

I have to add that I now see you people's point. It took Gilthronx(not sure about the spelling) post for me to see it. Maybe because I read his post with a different eyes than I would have read yours. cheesy

The situation is not as good as before but it's not too bad either. Every driver just has to find a way to make 3-5k daily more than they used to do. How they do that is up to them to figure out.

This is what I have been saying...but u guys are making me look like the antagonist.

Why does every idiot think they should have an opinion about my life? Why are you fools so worried about a common driver? Are you all that jobless?

You all earn over 1,000,000 salary a month, but you choose to make your worthless existence all about a common driver that posts about his experiences... Are you all mad or you're just insane? grin grin grin

Make una go una thread. grin

I completely disagree with his submission that time and energy on 9k and 19k expenses are the same.

With two trips of 4k each gives him 8k, now he needs a 3rd trip to make up for his fuel and commission before he starts to now look for his net. Now this is at 185/ltr for 30L.

Now how many trips of 4k will he have to do for his expenses of almost 20k before he now starts to look for his net?

What are you disagreeing in my post now?
Everybody wants to oppose Pearl. So much to d extent that u quote me but disagreeing what someone else said as if I am the one that said it.

For real this period has exposed the fuel consumption of most drivers. They've been driving gas guzzlers.

You clearly don't know what you're saying,

Let me ask you, before the fuel hike, how much fuel (naira) will take you from Ikeja Maryland to ajah under bridge

You claim your Corolla consumes 1litre of fuel per 10km right

Maryland to ajah under bridge is about 45km using 3rd mainland bridge, so going by your calculations, you said your Corolla consumes 1litre per 10km
Which means 45km distance, your Corolla will consumes 4litre of fuel

And 4litre of fuel before the hike was 740naira
You mean your Corolla will only consume 740naira fuel from Maryland to ajah under bridge?

Before fuel price hike, A normal Corolla will do Maryland to Ajah To and Fro with N2,000 fuel max with minimal traffic.

U either believe and work on your car or u doubt and continue to enjoy ur fuel guzzler.

Don't just go home and park. You can think a little and restrategize then come out again and try. Transportation is a very basic service that cannot be substituted especially niche/luxury forms like ehailing is today.

See what a fellow driver on this thread posted concerning this fuel issue and how determined he is to overcome his problem :

This thing pearl posted is the reality of most ehailing drivers in Nigeria today. Let us help each other to solve this our problem together.

If you see something you don't understand you can ask for clarification and you should get answers from more knowledgeable people. If you doubt something you see ask for proof so you can focus on the information being disseminated with a clearer head. focus on finding solutions from like minded individuals

Nigeria isn't smiling, we need all the help we can get. If you see someone doing a business and trying to make ends meet but is complaining of how hard its become please don't discourage them. Refer them to a professional in their line of business to receive counsel.

Well said brother. We nor fit hold meeting with these people sef cheesy grin
