Let me share my cost effective trip to Adelaide.

At the time I wanted to book my flight from Nigeria, it will cost me approximately 1.4m. So I decided to transit through SA.

Nigeria to SA = 205k (Air Cote d'Ivoire)
SA to Adelaide = 550k (Qatar Airways)

You don't need a transit visa in SA, it is written on VSF and SA home affairs website. I also confirmed from SA embassy in Abuja before the journey began.

Just hold 5,000 extra for Nigeria Immigration Officer if them wan talk rubbish. I move smartly, didn't go for my bags in SA, I inform Qatar that my bags is with Air Cote d'Ivoire and they pick it up to my next flight.

You can use a dollar account to pay for your flight from SA to AUS. Naira card is not accepted. My friend in SA did that for me.

My waiting time in SA to catch the next flight is just 6hours. If you can take the risk, it worth it.

I end up saving 600k +

Send an email to them explaining your situation, they will give you a closer date or use fatayi Williams which is slightly more expensive

The Allianz health insurance that covered my partner and myself expired before the visa grant. Doing a couple health insurance before my departure date is extremely expensive, it's about 3600$. I am a bit confused and I don't really know how to go about it. Are they going to ask me for my health insurance at the airport in Melbourne? Can I fly to Melbourne without issues and then renew my health insurance when I get to Melbourne after saving up? Lastly, since couple health insurance is expensive, can I just do a single health insurance for myself alone and later upgrade it? I need your answers pls. Thanks for your support always

Best you stick to parents, siblings, uncle / aunt, grand parents as sponsors. Sorry about that.

I think you would have to reapply for admission again and do new coe

I was in a similar situation when I came to Melbourne. Try to get a single cover please to avoid issues. Please when did you apply for this dependent visa and when was it granted?

Thank you... Can I go ahead and do a single health insurance for myself for a year alone? My dependent visa was granted on may 15. I applied towards the ending of February and was asked to provide more info before the grant...

from what I know, it's not for all schools. The school without IELTS can be expensive while you can get cheaper schools with IELTS. In all, try to have IELTS
