Take your vehicle through a diagnostic process that’s first thing first. Secondly get a professional to have it fixed. What has a v8 fuel pump got to do with an i4 engine

Well, that's the recommendation I earlier got and I was told the nozzle regulates the fuel entering into the engine.
I don't know if there is a scanner that throws up a code indicating a faulty pump or nozzles or even plugs.
That's why it a challenge to me.

Good evening,
I use Honda Accord 08 and it vibrates when in traffic especially in the afternoon. I have changed the Engine seats, plugs, serviced the injector, cleaned the nozzles. I don't know what to do again. @gazzuzz

DTCs are not the best way to capture faults on vehicle. Get a competent tech and you should be fine

One time I was having similar vibrations at idle. Changed all engine mounts, issue wasn't resolved. I was tired of throwing money at it and I just learnt to live with it.

Couple of months later, I started having misfires. Coil and spark plug was changed. The misfire was not only resolved, it was the end of the idle vibration.

You may want to look into your coils. Remove and clean them, do the same with the plugs. Ensure all the plugs are well tightened and see if it reduces the vibration.

The vibration OP explained is sitting at red lights, drive engaged (with ac probably on) while brake is applied. I agree with Gazzuzz on this. And there is a reason why he mentioned replacing with original OEM part.(Front & back) E get why. That vibration thing can be a pain in the ass.

Mine was the exact same thing. It happens at red lights and I was very quick to throw the gear in Neutral when at a red light especially when I have a passenger.

The coil did infact solve mine.

Greetings house.
Please can someone counsel me on the best approach to take in mitigating Mr car issue. Car name is Honda, brand is Civic and year is 2006. I have scanned the car severally, carried out a live diagnostics with my scanner yet no fault. Feedback gives a pass on all systems yet, the car surges. I have cleaned the plugs too. Car is just a year old in service. Was bought a ToKs mad mileage Is 126000.

Good morning all,

I have an Honda Accord 2010 and I want buy Catalyst. My mechanic quoted two prices, 170k for complete and 100k for another (he would remove the part in mine and take to where the catalyst would be installed).

I want to ask if the pricing is correct. I checked Jiji and I was seeing different lower prices. I am a first time car owner and I am trying to minimise cost. (that is why i am installing the catalyst in the first place because the fuel consumption is high)

Also, my car revving is high, any solution to that?

If you rev is indeed high then you have greater issues than the catalyst.

Go get a proper scan

Did you just clean the coil? what did you use to clean it?

Thanks for your response.

I have been experiencing a weird issue for some weeks now, it all started when I had an electrical issue where my car refused to start because of a blown fuse or wiringcconnection that affected my fuel pump and the fuel pump wasn't supplying fuel.

Days after, my radio turns off whenever I turn on my headlight, sometimes the car goes off when wiper, headlight and radio are all turned on..but whenever I'm on top speed, everything works fine until I'm I'm traffic or slow down.

I thought it was what my rewire did but after several attempts to fix this we haven't been able to. I decided to test my alternator.

I was driving yesterday and I turned on everything but it was all smooth, I parked and measured the voltage on the battery and it was about 13.7v which is still low in my opinion but better. After restarting the car, I started experiencing it again, I did another test, the battery's voltage was about 12.3v while engine was running with just the radio on which means the alternator isn't charging the battery well.

What could cause this? Is my alternator faulty since this happens spontaneously. I've tightened the leads on the battery.

My car is honda accord 2006, Type s.

Thanks.

Use DW1 or total MLVL, both are expensive though.

I experienced this with my 06, might be a damaged inner cup on one or both of the wheels...

Also check your spark plugs and coils.

Wow thanks. I was thinking the same, unfortunately it doesn’t have a catalyst. People have suggested I get the China one that is serves the purpose. And also I have only been able to see the new O2 sensor at oyingbo.

Ill work on that. Thank you
is there any improvement?

Good day ma people

Have issues with Honda civic 09

1. Sometimes car vibrates before picking up speed
2. Sometimes it drags while sometimes it moves smoothly, you can't predict when it will do that.

I have changed plug, fuel pump, fuel injectors, throttle body, coils are ok, serviced EGR, washed MAF and tested ok
Please what else could cause this issue? Just tired.
Car scanned and no error at all, no check engine light on.
