They already called for strike before FG invited them. In fact, the threat was the reason FG invited them. FG thought she could get away with it by unilateral taking a huge decision like this
Not true

I know you're pained because of this latest development, but you need to calm yourself down

Nobody is bigger than the Nigerian State

Don't forget this is how some of you said ASUU won't listen to the Court, I won't be shock if you're one of the people who waa saying ASUU won't listen to the Court. The Government will just proscribe the NLC If they disobey the Court order and only TUC will be recognize.

The Strike can't happen again because it will take at least 2 years before this case end up at the Supreme Court

By then, Dangote Refinery will be working, minimum wages would have been increase and other palliatives would have been introduce and people would have move on and forget about this little hardship

Majority Of Nigerians have choosen to suffer Today and Enjoy Tomorrow

But I sincerely don't understand what NLC look to achieve with their proposed strike.

These guys watched unhinged when Buhari and the lawmakers worked the 2023 budget and had subsidy thrown out after it's June. Why was NLC mute and can't challenge Buhari then?

NLC also understand that FG is borrowing heavily to pay for subsidy. And going forward, it will be impossible to pay salaries of civil servant or provide basic amenities to the people. It would have been reasonable if they tell the nation the very best alternatives of paying for subsidy without spending all our income. Do they want FG to sink into debt? What alternatives do they proffer?

It is impossible to tie the hands of FG especially when the President is determined.

But let us watch as it plays out
Aswear, some Nigerians are very wonderful people, we saw how Buhari didn't include the subsidy saga in 2023 budget and even came out to tell the whole Nigerians that subsidizing PMS will come to an end after his tenure...This asslicking NLC hid their tails behind their legs and said nothing, only to start barking after everything has been executed...!!

You see this Nigeria wey we dey so...
If it turns out good, we should take it like that...!!
If it turns out bad, we should take it like that...!!

That's the evidence of the rubbish wey keep churning out every 4years...!!

It's a legal concept
Office does not mean a building in this case but institution.
You need to be educated to a certain level to get it

Cases are reported

AGF vs whoever

In the law report
Nothing to do with any occupant.
It is an office.
If a financial judgment is passed against AGF

Did NLC ask the court to save it from disgrace?

Is it PDP and LP that called for strike?

Who filed the suit against the planned strike?

How is it suddenly because of subsidy that FG will not be able to pay salaries or provide basic amenities?

What are the basic amenities that the FG has been providing?

How has FG been borrowing to finance subsidy?

Is subsidy the only thing the government spent loan on?

You are asking...Do they want FG to sink into debt? is Nigeria not already into debt? Is subsidy responsible for that?

How did you come to the conclusion that nigeria spends all it's income on fuel subsidy?

The issue is not all about the removal of the subsidy. They have to tell Nigerians how this money would be used. Remember they removed subsidies from kerosene and diesel, what have they use these money for? We Nigerians don't trust them. The subsidy money will still be looted by same agents of government.
You removed fuel subsidy, what have you done to cushion the effect of the subsidy removal? You put Nigerians into more suffering adding to pains of cashless policy of the just past Buhari administration.
So, it is very pertinent for the Labour to call FG to order.

the government has been removing fuel subsidy since the 90s maybe earlier. what was the percentage the government was paying for each litre of fuel as subsidy?

with each partial withdrawal of subsidy, what percentage of subsidy was removed and what was left?

in this attempt by tinubu, what was the percentage of subsidy left that he removed?
