Just want to find out if #1million can open a small beer parlor space that can contain 15tables and 60chairs.

I plan opening this in Lagos State.

I expect this to cover rent, see-through cooler, freezer, chairs, tables, and atleast a sub-urban population.

Salary for bartenders have not been included.

The cheapest display coolers are 400k ish (You could get a free one from your beverage company with time), rent in choice areas of Lagos is not small also. I think you should do a material costing with Jiji and you'll get a clearer picture.

15 Plastic Tables (₦8000 each) - ₦120k
Freezer (150ltrs-200ltrs for starters) - ₦250k
Hisense showcase chiller - ₦290k
Generator 4.5kva Elepaq - ₦200k
Rent - Depending on the area you want in Lagos, DYOR and add this.
Stock of beers and other beverages: Since you're starting newly, you'll need to buy your own bottles and crates, you can buy from the distruboters or go shoprite way and buy crates from those Mama that sells used bottles.
If you'd like to eliminate somethings and get a very cheap shop, your 1mili can start a beer parlour on a very lean budget, but if you'd like to start at once, you might want to up your budget to 2-4mili.

I've slimmed my budget for the furniture down to 10tables and 40chairs.

Also are you saying I'll still have to buy the crates separately from the beer too?

I'm planning on starting majorly with beers, and I plan starting with a #100,000 beer, which at a price of 4,200/crate (if crates aren't sold separately but together with the beer) should be tantamount to 23crates of beer, then start restocking from there as the sales move.

I come dey worried now, cos I'm actually a medical doctor, so pharmacy go dey more easy, but I no know about the overhead costs, and how regular patients would frequent the place.
