2, such things are very common in the south... especially the south west and south south with tangible Muslim population...

This man has just finished himself. At times, being frank and being foolish can not be differentiated.

He states what was already a pointer to the true state of things in Kaduna for the past decades. The state is as sectarian as Lebanon. El-rufai's calculation is that as long as the Christians aren't cheated and are treated fairly, an eternal Muslim-Muslim ticket is good.

I see a lot of wisdom in what you said but sentiments beclouds good judgment for a lot of people.

The problem is not really in what he said but why.

Tinubu did not pick a Northern Muslim because he wanted to but because he had to. Why don't Nigerians ask themselves why he didn't pick Peter Obi or Osinbajo? We can now see how long held prejudices determine politicians actions.

I am always surprised that despite the fact that Angela Merkel was from East Germany, she was not only elected Chancellor but served for 16 years.
