The only good thing about this is that those useless Nigerian police will not be searching people's phone looking for crypto apps again. As for the yeye ban, guys been dey trade steady all the while and dey fund and withdraw from wallets from their bank accounts. The ban was actually useless, na olopa Dem use am dey cashout |

kenny714433: All the while that you have been trading it, whenever it comes to paying someone or receiving payment for digital assets have you been boldly declaring the purpose for the payment as cryptocurrency? NO I guess. Reason you didn't know it was banned before. If you are not aware, people who mistakenly put Crypto in the description had their account frozen. You didn't know this or you just dey whine me ni ? 2 Likes |

LeoDeKing: Instead of doing sycophancy, pls always try and read. May 28, 2023: President Muhammadu Buhari signs the 2023 finance bill into law. The law introduces a 10 percent taxation of gains on the disposal of digital assets including cryptocurrency. The law is effective as of May 1, 2023. 2 Likes |

talk2hb1:You guys love self delusion. Many of your goons who claimed bitcoin will replace the dollar ended up losing millions. How is crypto a threat to stock exchange? Do you think the likes of Dangote, Elumelu and Otedola are on binance struggling for p2p? Crypto on Nigeria is dominated by 3 groups, cybercriminals, ponzi schemers and some tech savvy enthusiast. None of those groups are a threat to the stock market. 1 Like |

You can't really tax crypto profits. How do you tax Dex trades? 90% of my trades happen on Dex and 100% of my fiat cashout happens on P2p. They can only tax institutions and noobs and those who choose to submit. 3 Likes 1 Share |

ExudeLoveToAll: That is the lie they tell you, or the lies that you belive. lagos like any other states had faced a military dictatorship hassle. Lagos prior democracy in 1999 had returned as a normal state, the IGR at the time was a meagre 600M with population of less than 7million, that is one. Lagos is strategically placed by providence such that, whichever way, Lagos will thrive irrespective, in addition to hospitable people of Lagos, that is two. Pre-independence, Lagos was already thriving state, which was why it was selected as the capital, and not the other way around. At the time, the only other place that could compete with it was Ibadan. While lagos was prospering pre-independence, in the East, they were still practicing barbarism, killing the missionaries, killing twins, using their women as farmers, women were never allowed to express themselves, nor partake in decision making. I will school you bit, i will reserve other points for when you respond without facts. Calabar was a former capital, what is the outcome? The progress of Lagos expressly started from Jakande, he massively improved Lagos, even with that, the northerners that ruled during the military regime were anti-development in Lagos. The rapid progress began in 1999 despite opposition (PDP-OBJ) - the IGR increased, despite the relocation of Capital to Abuja in Dec 1991, 8 years later, from 7M and 600M IGR, it rose to over 20M with IGR of over 45billion. Policy changed Lagos. Lastly, see what is the contribution of Lagos to FIR monthly, and see what we get in return, if it were to be some other states, they will today be formenting trouble, and claim higher derivation formula. Lagos is your father, in all aspect. In the 80s, Ghanaians, Togolese, Beninoise and other nationalities largely trooped into Lagos, it has always been a hub for prosperity by providence, there isn't anything anyone can do about it. More of it is the natural ambience, the culture, the tolerance, hospitality, accommodating and education of the people. |
