hayyawithme:Na whr you crawl out off.In as much as I believe the market will tank because of foundational corruption in this country. It does not mean every adamu will now start shouting generational low senseless. If corruption is fought genuinely, with sincerity of purpose and the economy improves thr is nothing that will stop the market going north. 6 Likes |

Does technical analysis actually work for Nigerian stocks? The pullback strategy is often very effective in liquid markets especially if built into a robot but one cant say about Naija. ositadima1: |

LASACO - Trading @1.68 today......the post reconstruction opening price. - LASACO was reconstructed several months ago in ratio 1:4 (1 for every 4 held)......and, at a closing price of 0.42k/share pre-reconstuction.... - Opened@1.68 after reconstruction... - After being battered so much down to 0.80/0.81k (0.20/0.21k), it finally arrived at the point where it started the downward journey..... - Coming out stronger in 2022 post reconstruction and, with a juicy dividend of 0.15k, where do we think the share price will lead to? How far can the share price go from here?? E-TRANSACT Is ACCESS increasing stakes here again? Now @4.84......Up with +44k ......full bid DANGSUGAR Some cross deals... 4 Likes

I know I have recently bashed a lot of the registrars but ONE surprised me today with their efficiency. I sent just one email message - a filled E-mandate form and within one hour, they paid my outstanding dividends. Take a bow- Greenwich Registrars. Meanwhile, those two registrars I mentioned previously are still being chased. 6 Likes |

Mpeace: Access and FBNH are showing UBA the way to go with market price. Especially the way Access started exceeding UBA in price by more than N3 Access has also shown UBA the way to do with upping dividends. Market is still waiting for UBA response on that before closing any gap with Access. |

123ABCXYZ: I believe that the same fundamental rules apply to trading regardless of market. I have observed a few patterns. When the market favors a stock and it begins to rise quickly, especially with heavy momentum, pullbacks are typically caused by people taking profits. After the pullback, the stock often continues to rise. I think the 10-day moving average is a good measure of strength, and a move of 40% or more is a clear signal that the stock is not kidding. However, it is important to do your homework and make sure that there is enough liquidity (with respect to size of your stake) before making a trade. This is because liquidity will help you get out of a trade quickly if things don't go your way, and help you minimize losses. All of this is just theory, as I am still testing a few things. Regarding using robots, our current set of stockbrokers do not provide APIs. I once considered building the entire trading interface with Selenium, but later decided that it would be too much work and prone to errors. 2 Likes |

123ABCXYZ:The best market I have seen that TA works well with is Nigerian Stock Exchange. TA is not only about indicators, it's more of Price Action (and or in combination with Volume), Index comparison etc. It also tells you more of market sentiments. I agree Nigeria stock market is not as liquid as some established markets in the world but it's (arguably) the best in sub-sahara Africa if not the entire Africa. 3 Likes |
