The issue of who is an indigene is not new

Many states in the North actually issue indigene certificates which are used for various purposes like bursary and employment

Certificates of origin are a good thing if they are used to protect the rights of indigenes without denying other Nigerians their rights

They should pass this law and let all Niger Delta state pass same law then any oil company that want to drill in Ur state will have to employ the state people first or the company leave immediately, Good start from lagos
