2nd withdrawal? You mean, the retraction of the initial withdrawal request?

Pls if one portal shows that "we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements" and one have upload medical e-slip for more than a week now. Pls is it a positive sign or anything can still happen after the eligibility check.

If your family member is in same city as your school then no issue stating you will stay with them. I mean it's logical you stay there to save cost as long as it doesn't disturb your primary aim there which is to study. Would have probably been an issue if your family stay in another province far from your school.

Okay. I get it now. Thanks for the response.

Sis, if you secured the admission on your effort, you can do the visa, some of these agents complicates issues. Carefully read this page and ask your questions.
You need to work on your statement of purpose.
What course are you studying
Do you have any work experience on it?
Home ties.
If you finally want to go with am agent, make sure you check every documents before he submit them.

You can actually do it yourself.
Go to the first page and see the required check list then take your time if you have time luxury and go through this thread as much as you can. You will see many refusals and approvals. With that, you will know the DOs and Donts. You might see someone with exact case as yours.
You can write your sop using information from here then anyone here can help you review. I can help you review it.

Finally, you said 1st year school fees paid so I assume it's atleast a 2 years program. You can drop more info on the length of the program so someone can help you work out estimated proof of funds since you are self sponsored. Just sha get ready to justify the funds you claim to have as a self sponsored. Goodluck.

1st question is who is the sponsor to you? You have to prove relationship with the person.
he or she will provide evidence to show source of money, birth certificates of related to you, evidence of previous commitments and pictures of you and sponsor. It's always easier if sponsor is your sibling, spouse or parents.
If sponsor is working, pay slips, employment letter, shud all be added along with statement of acct, if into business, then cac docs, invoices, receipts will all help your case. Most importantly, in your sop give more details about your sponsor with regards to his family if he is single or married so VO can clearly work out what he expects the sponsor to have in his acct. Let's say you are claiming your sponsor is sponsoring as much as 25k cad and he is a family man with 3 kids and he submits a SOA of 28k, that might not fly. Abi sponsor no go fend for his family again? So you have to put all this into consideration especially as you are going for a 2 years course. VO will want to be satisfied that sponsor has excess so as to make funds for your second year tuition readily available.

Also don't know your study Gap. If you have been working for a while, then it will be a red flag to have full sponsorship.

From what you wrote, 2 years tuition is 20k cad
Living expenses 20k cad
Miscellaneous 4k
That's total of 44k.
So work out whst sponsor is bringing to the table and what is coming from you, do a break down clearly in your SOP.

Help! Help! Help!
Hi Everyone, I need help relocating. I have tried reading the thread but I see most people here already started their applications. I don't want to get banned by Canada, so I would like to do it myself. I have been living in South Africa for 9years, I used Asylum which helps me work and study. They suddenly stopped renewal last year which made me started considering relocation because there is no point staying if I can't work and support my family back home.
Here is the problem, I have a BSE in HR and a diploma in Computer Engineering(all certificates was obtained in Lagos Nigeria) and Im 35 single and never married.
What would be my best way to relocate to Canada?
What options do I have because I know the age might not be on my side?
Can I still get options for this year?
What will it cost me?
Would I need to go back to Nigeria as I can't renew my papers?
I would love help from the community, affordable options please.

You will boost your chances of approval if you can go back to Nigeria and apply from Nigeria. Applying from SA screams you want to enter Canada and don't intend to leave after studies since you have stayed in SA for years under asylum. Trust irrc to do background checks.

If you can 100% self sponsor yourself, that will be cool.
Cost will depend on the duration of program you pick and cost of tuition.
Finally, most schools have closed for September intakes. You can still check sha. You can target January 2024 intake. And yes you can do it yourself.

Sponsor is my direct sibling, single at the moment
I ve been working since 2021 but i dont have much, like 600k, because i bought some properties some months ago.
my sibling is ready to do full sponsorship.
Any way to deal with this red flag you mentioned?

Hello guys, please has anyone recently utilized the new portal to extend their study visa? I've noticed that the new portal doesn't seem to offer any distinguishable features compared to the regular initial application process.

With these answers, it is obvious why your application would be refused because of the followings or more:

1. Your tuition fee for the 3 years is $27,000. How can your sponsor having $35k agree to fund you with $27k out of the $35k? Does he/she have no other responsibilities? If you deduct living expenses from the remaining money of your sponsor, your sponsor will have no more money in the account, even, it will run to negative? Is he/she your parent? Even if he/she is your parent, how will he/she survive?

2. Your sponsor is having $35k, but earns #25m ($72,500) annually, how come the account balance is this low? What is the total lodgements and total withdrawals?

IRCC uses account balance, credit total, debit total and lump sums to nullify or justify your claim of annual earnings and ability to finance your education.

Kindly note that I am not asking you those questions above, they are there to open your eyes to see how your claims may have been flawed.

Thank you so much. God bless you. No going back, I am going to work on it. Thanks again

You may want to refresh your browser or use another browser.

You may also change the bank to see if it will display branches.

Or post a screenshot.
Thanks a lot, they probably had technical issue, I was able to do it at midnight, the selection came out then.
