Please for those that went for biometrics, was it the official statement from the bank branch you went with?

Reason I'm asking this. I use fidelity and there's an option to send statement to the embassy. Does this suffice or I have to get it from the bank. My date is Tuesday and I can't get the physical statement on Monday as it is a public holiday.

Or is there an option to push my date forward

Don't you have a bank app? Download the bank statement from your app and go to café and print

If you send any statement to the embassy, you will be shocked at how much you will be charged by the bank.

Another thing is since the bank won't have your GWF number how will they expect the embassy to know which visa application the statement is for?

You do not.need to buy a ticket for visit visa application. Just include the price of ticket in calculating your expenses.

I don't wish you I'll but if you don't get the visa, what happens to the ticket?

Thanks

my own opinion is put 1 naira/1 gbp. Let your invitation letter expressly state that you are sponsoring the trip fully.

TLS sent an email for my mum to pick up her passport on friday. But she will go on Tuesday to pick it up hopefully since there is public holiday in Nigeria tomorrow. I didnt get any rejection email so hopefully her visa was successful. Thanks for your response

Have you checked the passport thoroughly?

The stamp is usually well hidden somewhere in between or close to the end grin

Hi guys.
I applied for Dependant Visa and from the tracker, my application is still in the received by DMC stage but I got an email from BRP saying my visa is successful. It’s safe to say I have gotten the visa right? And I should expect collection of passport soon even though it’s still in the received by DMC stage.

Am I correct in my thinking?

When you paid for the IHS, did you pay for the 5years or you paid for one year

dagdag:
Advise on supporting documents for Global Talent visa application

I have 5 dependants but intend to travel alone. On the visa application website, only the following were mentioned as required documents
- Int’l Passport
- Endorsement Letter
-TB Certificate

However, upon completing my application and paying IHS and visa fees, a checklist was of required documents for my visa appointment was generated but none of the documents above were mentioned (although there are blank space for me to list additional documents I wish to provide).
The documents listed on the check list are:

1. Information about your visit
Documents showing any plans you have made, such as: tour details / flight details / letter of invitation / evidence of sponsor's immigration status in the UK

2. Home address
Documents showing where you live, such as:
Property deed / mortgage statements / tenancy agreements / accountant's letters / land registration documents

3. Money (either income or savings) Documents such as:
Bank statements / bank books / bank letter / balance certificate / tax returns / crop receipts

4. Evidence of assets
Documents showing that you own property or land, such as:
Property deed / mortgage statements / accountant's letters / land registration documents

5. Additional Information
Evidence of family members remaining in your home country whilst you travel.

Keeping in mind that it is a global talent visa application where I already have endorsement, are these documents listed on the checklist compulsory for me or should I just stick to the three mentioned during my application?

Moreover, what type of documents do I need to for items 1 to 5 in the checklist?

I have my appointment booked for 13th September

When you put in the COS number, the system automatically does the exclusion of IHS if the COS falls under health and care visa category

Hello house, if am given a COS from a care agent , please how will I know if I will pay for ihs or not when applying for tier 2 visa.

philipomoraka:

Minimum average of 4.5, your minimum for each category is 4.5, another English test that is also accepted is PTE (Pearson English test).
2. You only need your Tuberculosis certificate during visa application, the police clearance as well, but some employer might want to sight them just to be sure you’ve got everything ready before issuing you COS.

Are you saying 4.0 in any of the scorez will not fly... Can i update my COS if expiring soon ? please let me know

I don't think your visa status(either positive or negative) would be confirmed to you by any individual. The highest dey say is that we are working on it or that a decision has been made.
I've never heard of someone being told his UK visa has been approved or successful before he sees his passport.

I have no idea what the role of this brp represents in the decision making process to tell you that on a whim.

It's either you are being scammed or you misunderstood what this supposed brp told you
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Macmac222: 3:37pm On Jun 12, 2023
Thank you for applying for a UK visa. Your visa application has been received and is under consideration. We aim to process non settlement applications within 15 working days (unless you have opted for the Priority Visa service), and settlement applications within 120 working days.

Unfortunately, the processing of your application has not been straightforward and we will be unable to decide your application within our customer service targets. We are continuing to work on your application and aim to make a decision as soon as possible.

We will write to you again if there is any change to this. Please do not attend the Visa Application Centre until you have been advised that your application has been decided and that your passport is ready for collection.

Kind Regards,

UK Decision Making Centre

Please I got the above email for my wife and son this afternoon, please what does the message means and what next do i have to do
