By that time, that passion and enthusiasm people had for all these would have drained.

This would have been best when the emotions of that injustice was raw!!
Wike should have been given the Mussolini treatment right after that election day.
Storm the rivers government house and hang him publicly for commiting the gravest offense against those whose interests he's supposed to represent.
These politicians keep taking us for granted because we have chosen to cower in silence.

Our only options before us now is flee or remain and bear the brunt of the chaotic country.

Rest with this violence mongering, you think it's film you're acting? grin

Obi is making the best approach, through the courts, sorry if he doesn't fulfill your "burn everything down" fantasy.

Wike has his thugs on his payroll.. he will unleash them and they'd infiltrate the group and turn it into a fracass..

But like I said, the time for violence will come and when it comes, no one will escape it

Your generation didn't meet riots that's why some youths romanticize it

I witnessed it and lived part of it. Some of my schoolmates were killed by soldiers rioting

In 1998 the day MKO died was the day Holland played Brazil France 98 we went to riot. First day we did riot and went back, 2nd day i don taya i slept in the room cos I no fit wakeup early. Those that went got shot by Soldiers killing many. Some even died in the bush and no one saw their bodies. Some got gunshots on their thighs arms belly. One of them was Dennis Chukwusa a year 1 student,

That was 25yrs ago. Most of their friends would have moved on, but the hurt in the heart of their family who should be enjoying the goodies of their son now can never be replaced

As a result of June 12 struggle OBJ Jonathan Tinubu YarAdua became presidents and billionaires settled their family. Thousands became senators and governors and became rich

Abeg who remembered the Chukwusa family today whose son like thousand others died all over Nigeria

The only memory was naming a TV room in OAU after him. Many students there today wont even know about him. I don't even know if the name of the room hasn't been changed

There will be one coward student who slept that day and is now a politician who is rich if he carry money enter Ife today everyone go hail am and even clean Chukwusa name from that TV room to his own

There has been successful people-led revolutions right from time. And yes, I mean violence-filled revolutions.

Russians, after years of terrible monarchial rule revolted against their king and murdered their entire royal family. Setting up a government of the people, a revolution that eventually led to their country becoming the second most powerful country on earth for decades.

Italians after deciding they had had enough of the dictatorial Mussolini killed and hung him and his wife in the public square.

The youths of this country are suffocating under the terrible burden of bad governance, maladministration and corruption by the APC. They decided to revolt peacefully via the ballot, you conspired against them and denied them their voices, you are corrupting all institutions of governance, what choices do you leave them?

I really don’t know why people like Don J don’t get this simple fact . Even though some of us were young these periods , we had egbon adugbo’s who died in those riots . Some of them, their surviving friends are now MD of companies , senior managers and successful business men . While those that died in the struggle left their friends and families in misery

How is it a threat

Haven't we seen court throwing out frivolous court cases and slamming them with fines

A court of competent jurisdiction issues a court order, the government is claiming it's illegal and will put an end to it

That's the exact definition of a threat.

This is why I have been soo angry with Obi. He handled this movement very poorly.
Very meek even in the face of aggression. And that meekness has ebbed at his following.

Our silence suddenly means we "accept" the evil that took place on election.
I think peace is better than violence. Let the aggression be in the courts as we have seen. Assuming the tribunal was being televised, probably people will see the actual situation of things. However, I think his sue for peace is better than protests.

So wait... Tinubu just threatened the judiciary 😂😂😂😂
In reality, the judiciary needs to sit up. They have been dancing naked to the music of politicians and not acting like the law agency. Perhaps a little threat will do.

After the robbery and rigging that took place on election day, I advocated for nationwide protests around the country, people said Obi would be foolish to do that, that he should follow due process.

Now the case is in court and people are saying obidients should just give up! They should "accept reality". That's the reality that a thief stole something dear to you and you should just accept that the thief has gotten away with it.. well, kpele oo, we are waiting on the justice system, our judiciary, to see if they would rectify the wrongs of the election.
Having faith in the ideal should never be looked upon as wrong.
If he leads a protest and gets arrested, that ends the hope. The worst that can happen in the country under such a situation we be 'we warned him not to' remarks.

Let it be that after the judicial process especially the tribunal (before it gets to Supreme Court) if justice is not given despite the overwhelming amount of evidence, then protest can be the next sensible option.

See the picture below, how many people here know them? Those were some of Nigerias freedom fighters who fought for this democracy day and hijacked a Nigerian plane to demand for June 12

Today is June 12 anniversary we are seeing Gbaja strutting all over, we are seeing Peter Obi sending tweets, we are seeing plenty politicians flexing today and giving us prepared speeches on how to fight for democracy

But the real fighters like these guys are probably suffering somewhere and their family cursing them for being useless hot head. They were 19yrs to 23yrs. They can never get a job in Nigeria, they are not recognized by anyone

While Gbaja Obi ElRufai Atiku who were probably fvcking bitchess and partying in whichever diaspora location dem dey when these kids were fighting are now our heroes

Never die for Nigeria never risk your life for anyone not your immediate family

How can a court issue an order to truncate democracy? The statement was made in full and didn't stop at unnecessary illegal orders.

Why are you acting as if the other part of the statement does not exist?

One, who determines that the order is illegal and that it truncates democracy? Me, you, the government or the court itself?

The court has its own laid down process and procedure of challenging court outcomes if the aggrieved party is not satisfied. If you feel the court has issued an order that truncates democracy, allow the court of higher jurisdiction to reverse it. You can also approach the NJC to lay down your grievances

Two, even if we agree that the court issues illegal court order that truncates democracy, is the statement a threat or not?

Moreover the statement said "unnecessary things illegal order will no longer be tolerated". You yourself said the judiciary has its process of disciplining erring judges, what makes you assume that is not the process the "not tolerated" means?

But you cannot answer that question because reading and comprehension are a big challenge to you. No matter how much you try to pretend as if theres anything in your brain, the shallowness of your post betray the pretense.

If to say na swords the people protecting government officials dey use, may be we can try. But one armed DSS guy can quench 1000 protesters with a simple one syllabic order 'shoot' by his oga. Time will come for a revolution but let's exhaust all the peaceful means first.

I am not in support of the threat. But our judiciary have not been doing well, and people no longer trust them. So may be they need to pick a quarrel with someone like Tinubu to come back to their senses and defend their profession and constitutional rights.

If the judges had not fallen mugu to the likes of Lawan, Akpabio and Uzodinma etc Tinubu won't have the guts to threaten them.
