International Passport Production Is Taking Too Long, HELP!!! by binowo13: 2:47pm On Jun 13, 2023
Hi guys, I need advise or comments from those who have collected their International Passport from NIS Abeokuta.

I did my capturing since first week of April 2023 and since then each time I track it, it shows that it's still in PRODUCTION.

Please does it take this long? One of my colleague who did hers in Sagamu same month I did mine, collected hers 3weeks after registration, I did mine in Abeokuta and it's taking this long, could it be technical issues.

Please I need advise..

It takes like minimum of two months for abeokuta to be produced...... And if you have a contact there , it will make it easier to know if it is already out or not. My own took like almost three months

Thanks, of course I have a contact inside there, he keeps on telling me it's not out yet each time I contact him, so I thought maybe he has no inform about it, but on a serious note, 3months is crazy

Yes it takes long, depends on the passport office, it takes 5-6 months now in Lagos. Sagamu own was fast because it's a newly passport officer, now crowd yet, you can only pay for fast tracking if you end it that badly.

If you did capture in sagamu around or before September, your passport is ready. Go and collect. I've collected mine. I captured on the 7th of September, and it was issued on the 11th of October. Give or take a week for the passports to get to the office. So it was ready for collection by the 18th.

I did my capturing in December last year but I have been going to the immigration service office but they keep telling me it has not been brought to their office, that it's still at ikoyi.

It's 3 months now and still no positive response.

Please has anyone experienced this and how did you go about resolving it?

Thank you in anticipation
