I submitted VV application on May 8th for myself and family. Biometrics and eligibility has all been completed since May 26th but no BVL for any one of us. How long after eligibility is completed do people usually receive BVL?

BVL since May 3rd. If they like let them send PPR in Dec I no send their papa. Me i no dey send anybody any emotional anything. Na look I wan go look for Canada, visit family and friends shikena.

However my main dilemma is that I want to submit my passport for US Dropbox and I don't want when my passport is out, for it IRCC to come and give me 30 days window for passport submission. Dunno how long US Dropbox takes for a decision/stamping and I have till August till my window/eligibility for Dropbox elapses. Any advice guys? Will appreciate.

Hello Everyone, please I need your suggestions on this.

My sister applied for visior visa for my mum since August 17,2021. IRCC announced all applications should re-apply which we did on Aug 17, 2022 up till now there hasn’t been any updates or changes on the application. Then my sister was about to have birth when she applied for her and we mentioned she will be staying for 3months.

So we thought she should do medical so as to speed up the application but we just read it that if staying less than 6 months in Canada you don’t need medical. Now her appointment is tomorrow at IOM, please what did you think would this have any effect on the application if she do medical or it doesn’t mean??

It was a long process, but finally the wait is over. A passport request email popped up today, June 13, 2023, for my wife.

Timeline:
Biometrics on file since October 2016
Application submitted: December 2021
BVL: April 29, 2023
PPR: June 13, 2023

IRCC can make BP go up. Since the BVL came out on April 29, I didn’t send them a single PPR-related communication or reminder. I just allowed them to suit themselves

Anyway, until this morning, my wife was unaware that I applied for her.

I wish you guys more success stories.

Pls I did biometrics about 2 yrs ago, if I apply online do I still need to go to VFS office for biometrics .

Omo! Everything about this process is just unnecessarily stressful 🥺 At least you will sleep well tonight lol.

I got another mail again this evening that it has been couriered from Abuja OC today by their courier partner and I should track after 24 hrs.

Do you have an idea of the particular courier or if anyone else does please?

OK, I kept on tracking and the last email I got was on 5th June while tracker stopped on 8th.

I went there with positive mind.. Since uju submitted same day with me and got her passport on Friday.

I went there.. The crowd choke.. Can't even relate the experience there.

But I said.. Since am here, I will wait to see the end.

Fast-forward.. We later got into the building and then into the small hall at 2:59pm.

After about 45min.. They called my name.. Whereas I learnt some even received collection email and there passport is not there.

I suffer today sha.. But it was all worth it.

I for cry if they had said.. Come back next week.

My slippers even cut join.. During the rush.
