Will Dangote Refinery Produce A Keg Of Oil? by Finesse247: 11:46pm On Jun 13, 2023 |
With Dangote being granted Licence to import petrol now. It now looks like the refinery thing is just a scam. |

When it's imported, it will be refined to our taste. |

I think they're to be refined, but that's not a development. |

Finesse247: A scam? What a stupid thing to say. Some of you just talk as if you have no brain. Do you have any idea how many factories and industrial plants Dangote owns across the world and is running perfectly? BUT HIS BIGGEST PROJECT YET WHERE HE INVESTED 20 BILLION DOLLARS IS SOMEHOW A ''SCAM'', JUST BECAUSE PRODUCTION DID NOT COMMENCE WHEN YOU DICTATED IT SHOULD COMMENCE? You people are just hopeless. You thrive on negativity. 3 Likes |

Quintopia: No apology, the igbos are confused. They do not see any good thing in Nigeria. They have been fed with sour grapes 🍇 , that was planted by their forefathers. Falsehood is the common factor among the igbos, and this is the only thing that unite then and their leaders in Sad-East. Imagine a situation where 99% of igbos believe that General Buhari was a clone of Jubril al Sudan! Where 99.9% of Igbos believe a man that came distant 3rd was the winner of a keenly contested free and fair election! Where 100% of igbos believe that an unprepared Peter Obi-diot who could not conquer erosion in Anambra for 8 years is now their Messiah! Indeed, the I before others (IBO) syndrome is really ravaging the igbos, probably because of the sour grapes 🍇 planted by their ancestors and leaders which their current generation of youth are now eating. They always believe that they are more successful than other tribes simply because they blow their 🎺 trumpets. Lagos street is adorn with thousand of ibo boys that are hawking gala in traffic, many of thier women are into prostitutions all over the World. The correctional centre across Nigeria is home to thousands of their boys. Prisons all over the 🌎 World are congested with their international drug traffickers and barons. Every households in Ibo land can give testimony that they have a member in prison or police cell. What do you expect from this children of hate? Bitterness, Bitterness, Bitterness, Bitterness. Hence ,do not be dismayed. There are many poverty stricken ibos in the Sad-East. When you express a divergent opinion to their myopic view, they tell you that you hate them coz they are more successful than you. The ibos are just the most confused people in Nigeria. They simply have no electoral value and principle, hence the dot in a circle description by General Buhari. No wonder the whole of Sad-East has nothing to show as dividends of democracy. They always want to act as spoilers. No political leader that can direct their activities hence the unknown gunmen and lock down. They are grossly disunited. Difficult for other stakeholders in Nigeria to trust them. They betrayed Athi-efku, he lost, they supported Yari, he lost, they supported jaji and Waze, same result they got. They supported Naira confiscation by Emefra-ud, he ends in DSS custody. They would come here and be disrespecting anyone who have a contrary view or opinion to theirs. They would create a hateful thread but when they receive Wotowoto (insult) as I usually bath and wash them with Wotowoto soap, they begin to cry and report one to Igbo moderators. This is the political cycle of the igbos. It is a generational thing. Their ancestors planted sour grapes and their descendants are now eating the sour grapes at harvest. Nigeria day of blessing is here. When you sew alliance, you will build bridges, you will rule like PBAT. Those that assassinatie the character of our President would live to reap the consequences. Development would not reach their ancestral Land. They shall declared self imposed economic lock down on heir Land on Mondays. They shall murder themselves. They shall remain the developers in other regions and geopolitical zones while the unknown gunmen torment them, all because they ate sour grapes that was planted by their ancestors. |

At the end of the day, production looks like it won't start on schedule. The problem is, the government and Dangote should have been a lot more truthful about it. Still, July is next month, August is a month away. |

I have doubts about the refinery producing as planned. I've said a long time ago ... the West will lure him into debts and not allow the refinery to come on stream to compete and severely affect the profits of ExxonMobil and company. |

The Northerners want to give Dangote monopoly to be importing Petrol citing the Dangote refinery that is in a Free Zone (designed for exports only) as excuse. When I saw that clause.. refinery owners in Nigeria will have sole rights to import Petrol in the Petroleum Industry Act passed into law not too long ago, I knew they were planning to give monopoly in Oil and Gas industry to Dangote. It's a good thing Dangote built refinery.. but considering the laws governing Free Zones, that refinery is technically not in Nigeria but a Free Area for him to refime the Crude oil and sell products to other parts of the world through exports. It appears the NNPC, now NNPCL didn't take that part into consideration before rushing to pass the PIA into law. Dangote has to pay duty and levy to Nigerian Customs before his products from the refinery can enter the Nigerian market. |

flokii: Dead wrong. Read up. The Petroleum Industry Bill signed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari has reversed an exclusive right for holders of local refining licence to import petroleum products. https://www.thecable.ng/pia-fg-reverses-exclusive-petrol-importation-rights-for-dangote-bua/amp

You come to Niger Delta and other oil producing states, channel oil pipes to the north. That same oil will now be exported to another working country, where it will be refined. Now that oil you took from your country to another man's country to refine, you will now import the same oil as a finished product and sell to your people. Chia , who do use this thing. 1 Like |
