I didn't have access to my portal, it was my agent that did it for me but when I tracked it, it under processing at the vfs.

Did you or your agent falsify any document? That’s why I’m saying check your portal, request for your login detail n check yourself.

I got 3 emails on 7th of June, 1st it’s ready for collection at Abuja, 2nd it will be dispatched to where I applied and the 3rd that it has been dispatched (see attached). But the last email instead of it has been dispatched to Lagos, it still stated Abuja.

I’m yet to receive it from the courier service that I opted for so I’m not even sure of where it is.

Did anyone experience this please?

your old posts says you are a PR in Canada. You should know to be honest. If the person doesn’t have who to stay with he or she needs to come with funds for airbnb/room share , feeding and other bills. A modest person will spend around 1200 to 1800 cad a month.

But when I tried to ask another travel consultant about it and he said that, for Nigeria their are alot of backlogs delay due to enormous of people sending in their applications and also depends on the type of Visa. Is that excuses legit?

I just login to my portal and I went through everything, all is legit. But when I tried to ask another travel consultant about it and he said that, for Nigeria their are alot of backlogs delay due to enormous of people sending in their applications and also depends on the type of Visa. Is that excuses legit?

I’ve seen visit, study, PR, close n spouse work permit. It’s rare for stamping to exceed a month, black logs can’t be a good excuse, it’s over 5 months. The only situation I’ve seen delay, applicants that got PFL due to false documents or misinterpretation, reason I told you to check your portal. I will advise you go to vfs yourself, let them produce your passport, maybe they’ve misplaced it sef. Go there, this matter dn pass mails and calls.

Since we intend applying as family we presented all our documents for her study permit application and we indicated that we are applying as group, family of 3.
But because of the application payment we couldn’t pay ourselves with our Naira account, so we hire Pay4Me to help us with the payment not knowing that after the payment it will automatically submit our application.And we were yet to fill the column for myself and our baby.

We got an approval response yesterday for my wife.Please how do we proceed with the application for myself and our baby, since my wife is the principal applicant? Is there a way we can continue with the application on her dashboard or are we supposed to start a new application for myself and our baby.Please here is my phone number 08063771773 incase there’s anyone who is willing to help.

1st congratulations on your wife's approval, you will have to open a new application for yourself and your children. This time apply for SOWP and visiting for your baby .
Wait for your wife visa to be out b4 applying or better still you can allow her to travel 1st has you also need her study permit snapshot to backup your application (not compulsory but to be on a safe side )
On your sop tell the visa officer why u need to travel with your wife to assist her because of the baby .
Use your mom dad , workplaces etc has hometiles .

tell them the truth. Unfortunately many will not listen. If they are not coming with funds or have where to stay then oyo is their case. They need funds pending when they can find a job willing to sponsor work visa in their 6 months stay. They are calling you so they can stay in your house too lol. Canada is not USA where you can work without papers.

Congrats on your wife’s approval.

You’ve to start new application for you and your baby, since you’re applying for Sowp for yourself you can’t use the new portal, you’ve to open account on gckey.

Also you don’t have to wait until your wife travel. I’ve seen ppl defer der admission just to travel together with der family. People also apply before der spouse travel so they can all move together. It all depend on how you package your application.

Just work on your home tie, pof and strong SOP. I will upload a template, you can edit that to your situation.

5 months is a damn long time. You need to contact both the embassy in Lagos and Abuja through email to find out what is going on with your passport.

You need to find out if the passport is with the embassy or VFS. At least they should let you know if the passport has been stamped and forwarded to VFS.

Backlogs or no backlogs, 5 months is out of it. Don’t buy that excuse.
