I second you with my shared profit of $403.12 and which was #305,000 plus yesterday. I have bought a 25K account from myfundedfx and believing strongly by God's grace and mercy that I will succeed too for better profitability.

95% of the time news doesn't do much...

But if the market is in a tight range and news is coming, I stay away from the market

The major problem is the tight range

You can have unpredictable bounces up and down before it settles on an actual direction.

These bounces are not very friendly for day traders who play using 10-20 pips as stop loss.

If you just started trading, you might be wondering what is a tight range and how to find one.

Range on the market that lasts anywhere from 2-10 hrs and the high and low is usually less than 20-30 pips.

How to find it?

If the market moves high from a major support area or drops from a major resistance area, the market will form a tight range on the chart at approximately 2 atr on 1hr chart.

Sometimes, it can happen at 1 atr on 1h chart but the most dangerous one is the one that occurs at 2 atr on 1h chart

Unless you are a trading god, just stay away from such a situation. Your tears will be delicious to the market

Prop firm is the equivalent of trading with 10 percent of your capital as risk

If you start with a prop firm, their drawdown is 5-10 percent and profit is 10-20 percent

That means with a risk of 1 percent, you cannot have more than 5-10 consecutive losses and you lose all the money you invested

Since you don't have prop firm money, take the money you have...find a broker who will give you a cent acct in naira or dollars for you to use such as fxtm

Risk 10 percent of that capital and try and withdraw every day till you hit your capital target.

If you find it difficult hitting that target, then you probably were not ready for the prop firm in the first place.
