He had all the time and power to attract good things to his region while he held sway as minister of transportation he didn't do so.
He rather wasted his efforts on the North, banking on reciprocity to gain favor from them, forgetting how he betrayed his own southern brother for a Northerner, does he think the North would ever trust such a man? Northerners do not betrayal themselves they rather cover up.

Now he (Amaechi) has rendered himself politically useless. He is not even aligned to PBAT.
He sent himself to political oblivion.

He should just go and enjoy his political loots quietly while attention is no longer on him.

in my all tears of studying geographical terrains, there is nothing on this earth like south South. It's either South East or south West. Nothing like South north, South South. The south South is South East.

Hmm.. after spending so much time and resources studying geographical areas, isn't it amusing that you cant differentiate between a GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION and GEO-POLITICAL zones?

Geo-political zones arent just about geography; other considerations were made when the geopolitical zones were defined. The SE homogenously harbours a majority tribe (Igbos). The SS zone is a grouping of the minority southern tribes. Similarly, you have the north-central zone which also doesnt exist on any compass. NC is a geopolitical zone expression which encompasses a group of minority tribes around the middle-belt. There's a politically expedient reason why these geopolitical groupings were made, one of which is to ensure that the majority tribes dont dominate and overshadow people from minority tribes, it's all about equity.

Not even for once have I heard of people of the north-central or the south-south complaining about the existence of their unique geopolitical zones. So why does it have to always be people from the SE complaining about the existence of the SS and claiming the SS is part of the SE? You need not be so wise to understand that this attitude of yours can only elicit a feeling on 'suspicion' from the SS people. By asserting that the SS doesnt exist but is a part of the SE, isn't that the 'marriage by force' which the IPOB keeps preaching against? In one vain you complain of how the SE is forcefully joined to Nigeria; within the same space, you're forcefully attaching the SS to the SE without considering the opinion of the SS people?

What about Middle East or Mid-West? This United States have those kinds of geographical distinctions too. Qualifications like South-South are meant for distinction. I understand where you are coming from. Most people I have met that dislike the "South-south" distinction are Igbos who believe the distinction is a way to divide the old Eastern region.
