AdesheO: Someone have meticulously answered the fund aspect for you and i beleive him,i think theres a lump sum in the acct without any explanation! Buh the main issue is the ties you’ve in canada. If you hv made enough research or watch u tube videos even in nairaland ,you shldnt hv even pointed out you have sister in canada, that is shooting yourself in the foot. Thirdly many agents are just thrash, mine was directly responsible for my first denial! He just did nonsense sop and document and submitted! Second time i used my hand and made research and did the second application without gcm note and still got! 3 Likes 1 Share |

AdesheO: I shared similar situation with you. My sis is a PR holder and lives with her hubby and kids and she was my cosponsor covering my tuition. However I sponsored my loving expenses so I also submitted my cac docs, receipts, invoices, SOA etc. I dont know if your sister is a full sponsor(which will be another red flag as you have a weak economic home ties), I think the mistake you made was including you will be staying with your sister. What do you currently do in Nigeria? Working or doing business? You didn't seem to mention any so that explains the assets and financial situation are weak to support your application. It's not always about having millions in your acct. It's about showing details how you made the money and how you intend to improve your economic situation back in Nigeria after your study |

Zane2point4: Whaattt!!! Not stating you have a sibling in Canada when you have one is misrepresentation. If they find out, it is a ban not even refusal |

Hi thank you you for responding. I actually mentioned that my sister is not my sponsor. She just added supporting letter and also provided her reference letter from work as well as bank statement to strengthen my application. Both hubby and I work (we have both had jobs for more than 5 years) and we included reference letters from work as well payslips for 3 months for both of us. Also tuition for the first session has been completely paid to further strengthen the application as well. zubizareta: |

Vheekthur: Whether DHL or UPS, send to Abuja, IRCC will have your passport stamped under 24hrs. If you live anywhere in South West, you should get your passport back in your hand within 4 - 5 days if you send to Abuja. 1 Like |

This was actually why I added my sister as well because I felt leaving it out was material. I had also done research on caselaw (in situations where visa was rejected based on strong ties) regarding listing a sibling in an application for study permit and judges had in all instances ruled that ties in canada should not be used as a negative evaluation factor. I also wrote a strong SOP as well given that I was a frontline covid healthcare worker the intended course was to build on that. Kenn55: |

Funformofi: Option 1. I suggest that the husband goes alone so as to use the spouse and children as home tie. Immediately he touches down in September, he should submit for spouse and children. Option 2. All can apply together but with strong proofs of home ties. SOWP for the spouse and children should apply for either Visitor Visa if not older than 7 years or Study Permit if older than 3 years. What makes you begin to look for success stories? There are many success stories. 1 Like |

Hi thank you for responding. There actually was no lump sum in this account except a transfer from another of my account of 4m which was a bonus received from hubby’s work. The money was transferred from my current account to a savings account. There was not outflow or inflow to this account over 500k in the duration of the statement. I have quite a few friends whose siblings in canada actually sponsored their education completely and they received their Visas. One of the reasons why I listed my sister as well. Zane2point4: |

Hey guys I have some questions, 1 my dad is retired and we own farmlands as a family business and have two lease but when reading other people's rejection our business have no certificate from the government we I still get a visa. 2 if someone is into an online business how will you show POF since it going to be lumps deposit. Note; the 2nd option is if the first doesn't work out. Thanks for your reply. |

daisy1: I got this message from IRCC today. Really hoping to hear from them this week in Jesus name. Has anyone ever experienced this type of delay before? Good day, Thank you for your correspondence. IRCC recognizes that applicants may face uncertainity with their travel plans as they wait to receive the passport request letters. The passport request letter is in queue. We are currently pacing the passport request letters being sent to a certain number daily. This is as a result of operational constraints beyond our control. We are unfortunately unable to provide a specific date or actual time frame of when we may be sending out the letters. Unless otherwise, this passport request letter remains in queue. We hope this information suffices. Regards, 1 Like |

Zane2point4: My brother. I'll rather do the right thing and be truthful than lying to get a temporary visa. It is better they deny her and she takes them to judicial review and win than to lie and get the visa. Note that the repercussion of a fraudulent act does not manifest immediately. About 600 Indian students were deported months ago after years in Canada because of fake documents. They were trying to get a post graduate work permit when the fraud was detected, they are in India now. No Canada, US,UK and Australia for them first the next 10 years. Study visa is a temporary visa and the background checks isn't as rigorous as when you are applying for PR and citizenship . At that time, all the misrepresentation and lies will be detected. Why risk it? 4 Likes 1 Share |
