How is it my fault that chronic cognizance deficiency is only attached to your your shrimp brain cells? Simple comprehension is an apparent rocket science, heck! let's view it from a different glance; I might be blaming your cognitive ability to grasp on the expense of an outright glaucoma syndrome.

23 vs 6
Out of 23, remove Foreign companies, Mineral related and Dangoteism(my point), what are you left with? Few banks which can pretty much measure up to Kenya! Banks thrive well in huge population, yes, Nigeria is 4 times Kenyan population! Isn't that concerning? Value per - capita will speak volumes! Only SA is out of the league.

let's leave ur first paragraph, it's pointless. U're only putting ur bland vocabulary to test, it doesn't sway me, not even by an inch.

Out of 23 yen yen yen, why should we remove them when they're listed? If we remove just foreign companies from yours, what will remain? At least u gave credence to our banks. And no, banks thrive well where there's huge purchasing power, not just huge population, idiot, rvp is really giving u guys cognitive disorder.

The Naira has finally been allowed to float.

Reports reaching Nairametrics indicate the central bank has given commercial banks and dealers in the forex market the green light to sell forex freely which is at a market-determined rate.

This is in line with the promise of President Bola Tinubu to unify the multiple exchange rate in the market.

The initial understanding of this message is that banks can now sell forex at market-determined rates, suggesting Nigeria is now operating a freely floating exchange rate.

The bank in Nigeria are in heavy debt and the president is a coconut head he does not even know what is going on the bank in the country do not have any US Dollar in fact they are borrowing US dollar from overseas.

When you send foreign currency u.s. dollar to Nigeria the banks do not even have the US dollar to give out to you talk later about using local currency to buy US dollar. Just look at the fuel importers crying that the banks do not have foreign currency

You see? You didn't even grasp the gist of the point before coming up with a response. I saw 23, Yes! I know out of all those, 90% are mineral and foreign based companies, meaning, only 3 companies out of the 20 doesn't fall into that, Banks!(population driven startup). Top startups in Kenya are all Kenyan. Also most are Non-mineral. I said without that and maybe population factor, Nigeria cannot be doing better than Kenya!.

Seems like the Joke is on you!

Remove Dangote, Remove mineral company, Remove MTN , Remove This remove That, you will soon ask us to Remove the name of Nigeria sef.

I guess as we are removing from Nigeria, we will be adding to Kenya abi, or is it only Nigeria that removing is allowed.

Mad fellow, Better go and cure your envying
Come on! cool Remove this and that is not an actual advisory! The point of debate is to view possibilities from all spectrums. Then come up with why this is doing better that the other one. Nigeria is undoubtedly pulling huge revenue from startups, that's why foreign companies are effortlessly winning in Nigeria.

Don't catch feelings already. I'm not envious. We're here to debate. I don't care about Nigeria's win or loss!

Lets hope market will stabilize and maintain same rates , we can even be at 2 position in GDP in Africa at present ,if the same rates hold.

Gone are the days of 2 percent growth in GDP year on year . I expect no less than 5 to 6 growth rate from now on and we will ultimately regain NO1 in a few years from now .

161KV - is hardly anything to shout about. Kenya has 500KV (so does like of South Africa) that stretches almost 1000km from border of Ethiopia to Nairobi

The largest substation in Kenya, 400/220kV Suswa substation is the switching point for the following transmission lines;
1. 1,100km 500kV Eastern Electricity Highway Project,
2. 400kV Suswa - Isinya
3. 220kV Suswa – Nairobi North
4. 400kV 430km Loiyangalani – Suswa
KETRACO

Inter-connector is a 500kV bi-polar (1,045km) HVDC OHL from Sodo through Moyale to Suswa. It is used to import power from Gibe III from Ethiopia

Stop small country syndrome - 161KV and nuclear power?? When will poor bankrupt Ghana get nuclear power?

Yes if Tinubu continues with reforms -Nigeria can easily get to 10% economic growth - it has insane potential. The reforms he has made were easy - boardroom decisions.

The hardwork
1) Reforming the security sector - increase budget - but ensure army ad police - are not corrupt - but welfare improved - proffesionalism introduced. It should be like kenya - nobody has ever heard of an army guy beating someone since 1990s or 1980s. Nigeria need armed forces reforms like happen in kenya in 1990s - called Tonje Reforms. DO NOT WASTE MONEY BUYING WEAPONS - spend all that money on welfare of the soldiers. Increase their salaries, provide them with best healthcare insuances, provide them with life insurances, kit them with best guns - provide for their retirement - housing. Motivate them. Then retrain them. Demand discipline and proffesional output. Dont go buying Sukhois and other shitty chinese or russian or american toys. Irresponsible army will sell it to terrorist.

2) Reforming the electricity sector. He may need to form electricity police unit to crackdown on illegal connections. That has to be top priority,

Once security is assured and electricity is available - Nigeria will grow at 10 percent for decade or more - because there is just a lot of crazy potential.

Sometimes I dont know whether to insult you or just observe because you're quite stupid.

Have you ever stepped a foot in a classroom before? Wow Kenya really poorly educated you.
Transmit 400kv to homes and industry and see if you don't kill your entire country.

Let me educate you a bit
1. I'm referring to a substation (power hub) and not a transmission line

2. The 161-kV and 115-kV system is the workhorse of the transmission system. It is responsible for transmitting power from the larger transmission system and generation facility throughout the entire service area.

3. The Technology employed in Ghana's substations can not be found in your poor bankrupt country Kenya. Those techs are one of a kind
They make it easily possible to join load from Nuclear power plants. We've managed to reduced the size(footprint) of our substations to the size of a lawn tennis court, using technology.

The transmission lines and substation network in Kenya have not been design to accept load from Nuclear power station. Try it and things will start going boom.

Now go and worry about your small irrelevant poor country... You guys don't have money for these techs. Let me know when Kenya build with such l techs

that's not even the problem. U did a harmless job by posting the development in Ghana, why was he irked by that? Why does he have to come up with baseless comparison? Is that not inferiority complex coupled with pull down syndrome?

He has posted development in Kenya, posted Kenya to be the most promising among nations of the continent, nobody bat an eyelid, why does he has to stoop to this level when another citizen post their development and make everything a comparison quest?

Ghana is racing against time to field in a series of Nuclear power plants. Hence the country is busy creating a series of MVAs to not be caught off guard especially with power demand increasing at 10% per annum.

Accra has already hit the 1000MVA mark
